Great anchor but poor bolts
This anchor is very solid and great for the price. Mine came with a free 16mm drill bit. I had difficulty drilling my garage floor, maybe it is harder than others but my free drill bit wore out its tip, this was after drilling ever increasing diameter holes from 8mm, 10mm then 16mm all of which took hours to do. I had to buy a 16mm bit from Wickes but even this could not drill the second hole to 75mm depth. I got it 60mm deep and as the bolts are no more than 55mm long I went for it. This is when I found the bolts would not simply drop into the holes as they were far too tight, in fact when trying to remove them so I could make the holes a bit bigger, one bolt fell apart. I was eventually able to re-assemble the bolt but still had to work my drill around the sides of the holes to enlarge them in order to fit the bolts. All this took about 4 hours. At one point I decided to try fitting to the wall instead but after drilling 3 holes I could not find solid brick to the correct depth, it kept going into the frog (cavity for mortar) of the brick. Now it is done I am pleased with the result but it was hard work. I used a power drill with hammer action, maybe it's time to invest in SDS.Afterthought: With regards to hole depth, I did drill deeper with the smaller diameter drill so the screw must have had enough room despite the 16mm drill only going down 60mm.

Great as a push bike ground anchor
Look & Feel:Very strong and fits the Oxford HD chain a treat - I brought the 1m version of the chain & with that on the garage floor through the anchor it loops up and around the frame of my bike nicely, I've then go our second bike Dlocked to the first & you cannot get near the anchor to force it off the ground - The 1.5m chain might have been better for 2 bikes to but locked to the same loop - though the way I've done it its more secure.Installation:Fitting instructions say to use a 12mm diameter drill bit for the initial hole, then to use a 16mm bit to drill the rest of the hole to 75mmI just brought a Silverline SDS+ 16 x 210mm drill bit from Amazon for £3.70 - (they are cheaper for non SDS versions)Then just drilled the two holes with one bit - saved me buying two drill bits which I probably wont use again. They also say to fit it close to the wall & floor - I set it off the wall about a foot, so that it was below the middle of the bike, this was because I had the smaller chain.Overall:Easy to fit and very pleased with the purchaseExtra:Why is it marked on Amazon as a Toy? Odd!That's why Amazon has marked this review withHow much fun is this toy?How would you rate this toy's educational value? How durable is this toy?How do you rate this toy overall?

Good solid product
This is a good decent product, I was placing it in my driveway, you will need a decent hammer action drill with a 16mm bit to do it right. With that done I’m very happy with it. It’s solid in the ground.

Great protection at a good price.
Had one of these years ago, as it was part of my insurance terms. Bought this same item again, as it's good value and feels very sturdy. Easy to fit and I use it with the sold secure Oxford chain and padlock, so it is easy to use too.It stops the opportunist the if, but I know it won't stop a very determined thief with a big angle grider, but it will slow them down and make them conspicuous.

Should do the job, paired mine with a Kryptonite chain.
The most important thing is this thing feels pretty solid, I have it anchored to a concrete floor & paired with a Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit chain for my mountain bikes, it's fairly tailor fit.I'd say if you had the same chain & were planning to remove the chain from the anchor on a daily basis maybe get something with a bit more diameter so you can easily/casually drop the chain through the anchor as while it's not tight or argumentative at all, it doesn't have much room around it & does need to be threaded through, which could be inconvenient on a daily basis especially if your leaving it in a tight/awkward place, but if this is being used with the same chain in a "Leave it at home" setup it's the perfect fit.

Does what it says!
I have used one before so I know what to expect. Note that it's only as effective as the surface into which you drill it (best = concrete) and the connection to your bike; I use a U-bolt

Great price for a solid insurance rated product.
A solid security device for securing your motorbike. I bought this due to the brilliant price and the insurance approved rating it comes with. With the correct drill and drill bit, it's pretty easy to install and once attached it's solid! I've attached this to my garage floor and lock my motorbike to it as an added security feature. An all round solid security ground pin.

Bike Secured!!
Quick delivery of this and very pleased with look and quality. Installation instructions easy to follow. Installation requires a 16mm masonry drill bit which luckily I have with my SDS drill. Installed on the concrete floor of my garage. Very glad to have the power of the SDS; a normal hammer drill might have found this a challenge. Once holes drilled, very easy to insert bolts and tighten down. Allen key could be longer to give better leverage. Trickiest part was inserting the ball bearings into the bolt tops. Instructions suggest a hammer, but I couldn't get an accurate blow without hitting the main body of the anchor so reverted to using a metal punch for accuracy. Overall a straightforward job and looks good and solid.
