Brilliant for all types of marks
Brought this along with the colour restorer to get rid of a big scratch running down the passenger side of my car from driving too close to a bush. Extremely simple to use just dampen a microfibre cloth and apply the liquid and rub back and forth then buff off the excess with a clean dry cloth. Only took me less than 2 minutes to get rid of the scratch and then I just used the colour restorer and it polished up perfectly. Depending how deep your scratch is will determine how effective this will be but even a deep scratch this will improve it. I think this would also work well on swirl marks you see on darker coloured cars, it really does give it that just come out of a showroom look. Just be aware if you have a darker coloured car because it is abrasive it may look worse once you finish as there will be a patch where you have rubbed the paintwork but that is what the colour restorer is for and it makes it look brand new again.excellent quality would definitely recommend.

Read the instructions!
During a recent trip in our motorhome we sustained severe hedge rash to the full length and height on the side of the van. After some research I came across this product. Within a couple of hours all scratches totally removed using the G3 waffle applicator. Important to emphasise that you need to test your scratches by scraping your across it , if it clicks this product will diminish not remove the scratch. Fantastic, does exactly what it says on the tin!

Car paint defects remover
With patience I found it certainly improves the appearance of swirls/very light scratches ie those which do not catch a finger nail test, indeed some marks it removed them completely. For deeper scratches it reduces the appearance. On my car it does appear to had any detrimental affect on the paint. All in all it is worth trying but take your time.

It definitely works but follow the instructions
This is a very honest review of the product. I had a black line across 2 doors on my car where someone had slightly scraped my car. The scrape was about half a centimeter wide. I read the instructions and followed them. The car area has to be clean for the solution to be effective. I followed the instructions and the line was gone. My car is white and the line was black. Completely gone. The product works well and I still have an almost full bottle. It works very well!!

Not as good as they say, false pictures on reviews
It's ok but nothing special. It takes out swirls in the paint but not scratches very well. I bought it because of some good reviews but half of them are rubbish or made up. One for instance has 2 pictures before and after. The before picture is of the back wing and the after is of a front wing. Didn't notice until it was too late. As I said, it takes out the swirls in the paint but I used a buffer machine as well.

scratch deleter
very good but be careful not to rub to hard it will burn and strip the paint down and greate its own missy scratches, remember G3 is strong and is a proffessional compound use by garages so be careful, USE with a light hand rubbing motion!

Works a treat with a bit of effort.
This product works very well, as long as youre prepared to put in some effort. If you're like me and read millions of reviews before parting with any money, I hope this review helps your decision. Recently I bought a black BMW, it's 17yrs old was scratched to buggery all over and covered in house paint splashes down the offside, but the price was right, mostly because of the less than perfect paintwork. It was my intention to just clean the car up a bit and use it as a run-around. After washing it I decided to do a bit of research to see what was around to spruce up the paint, after reading lots of reviews I settled on a bottle of G3 and it arrived quickly. Bear in mind I was going to have a go at the whole car... The best way I've found to use this product is to find a shady spot, not cold but out of direct sunlight so the panel you're tackling isn't hot, choose an area of the car, say half a wing, top half of a door, half a rear quarter panel, nothing too large, give it a clean with some soapy water and dry it off. Next, get a nice soft rag (I didn't bother with the applicators that they recommend, sorry, too tight!), give the bottle a good shake up, squeeze out some G3 on your rag, spray it with water, I used an old spray shower cleaner bottle that I rinsed out thoroughly, and get rubbing, straight lines, back and forth, then up and down, and back and forth again, NO CIRCLES, don't be afraid to use more water or G3, allow it to haze up a bit and then get another rag and clean it off. I could see a difference at this stage. Next I got out some colour magic that matches the car, applied that as normal, on a rag, let it dry, wipe it off and finally I gave the area I'd been working on a good polish with some of my old mans wax polish. The result has amazed me, scratches, swirls, dull areas, all the masonry paint splashes - completely gone! The paint looks deep enough to dive into and it is gleaming. It's not quite as easy as it looks in the advertising/tutorial videos, but having just finished the entire car, it looks really fantastic, almost unrecognisable. It's been a fair amount of effort and a good few hours but not everyone will have the whole car to do and there's still some product left, so it goes a long way, all done by hand and the results are genuinely outstanding.
