These ear defenders work well and are not bothersome to wear. They help preserve my hearing in the long term while vacuuming dead leaves or shredding pruned waste. Possibly my neighbours are not pleased as I blithely work on. When finished I take them off and return to the real world. A valuable purchase.

I started suffering from sleep issues when I was at university (blame the loud parties and living in halls!) so I thought there must be a better way! I bought these on the off chance as ear plugs and earphones did nothing and I was pleasantly surprised! They cancel out a lot of background noise and whilst you'll obviously hear very loud noises, wearing these at night have finally helped me get a good night's rest as it helps to cancel out snoring and other random noises in the night! They're not the most comfortable to wear to sleep (but then again I guess they weren't designed for that reason!) but as I'm a back sleeper, it's not too bad as if I were a side sleeper. They also a few months of constant night wear before the foam pads start to deflate a bit, which means the noise reduction is lessened, but overall, I have and I would buy again!

Bought these to help with noise from outside my room. My room is next to the kitchen shared with other tenants and can be noisy. These ear defenders have been very effective at giving me peace and quiet when I need it e.g. reading or concentrating on something. I sometimes wear them with ear plugs as well for extra effectiveness. They muffle sounds effectively and if I'm not actually listening for noises, I'm not aware of them. Even someone hoovering outside the room isn't a problem. I find them quite comfortable, if slightly heavy. I realise that the ear defenders are not designed for sleeping in but I have a frozen shoulder and wake up in pain if I try to roll onto my side when asleep. I've worn the ear defenders a few times in bed when noise has disturbed me and the ear parts stop me from turning onto my side! So an added benefit for me!

Iv ordered these numerous times as my grandson is artistic but but as lost them a few times so thts the only reason for reorder so 5 start

These block out sound very well, but the fit is very hard and there is not much cushioning for the ears, like you get with ear defenders for people with Autism. If you are buying these for someone with sensory processing disorder, don't. They won't be able to cope with the gripping pressure sensation.

I got these for students who are easily distracted in class to use. I thought that it may help them. I got them out and suggested that they try them. At no time did I force a student to wear them, they were placed next to them and I said you could try these to see if they help you.I was not expecting much as children are children......! However they were tried. First it was just to be different, a funny addition, however when the novelty wore off they were still kept on. I ensure that they are only worn for a maximum of 10 minutes concentration time and then they are off, just to let the mind wander and still be part of a class. Concentrating is difficult for some students and I do not want to place extra pressure on them.The suggestion to wear was only used once for each student. Then I had them out and specific students were made aware of them, that they were there if they wanted them. I can say they have been used regularly and if I forget to get them out then I am asked quietly can I get them.They have lasted well and to be fair they have probably been used harder in a class than in any building site. I have tried them out myself. I find that they make my ears hot (that’s another reason why I will not let them be worn for an extended period of time). I wore them for an hour and they were quite comfortable, not too tight on my head. They really take the edge of classroom noise but I couldn’t imagine that they would be good enough for long term use with a pneumatic drill or heavy duty chainsaw.

Work well, not for kids with big heads theyre quite small around the head. Don't feel cheap!

Riducono bene il rumore, l'unica cosa è che all'inizio sono un po' strettini ma basta metterli sul lato lungo della scatola e lasciarli lì un paio di ore e sono perfetti

Lo compré para eliminar el ruido en mi piso. Y resultaron muy efectivas,eliminaron el ruido en un 90% las recomiendo, su punto en contra la comodidad la estructura donde van las orejeras es de un plástico muy duro y molesta después de un largo tiempo.

Product ziet eruit zoals op de foto, helaas lijkt het een kindermaat (is inklapbaar maar niet in grote verstelbaar)

Had to return. Couldn't wear for more than an hour before getting headaches. Doesn't do a very good job at noise-cancelling either.
