GROHE 28362000 | Shower Hose Silverflex | 1250mm

I’m delighted with this spray hose. My flexible coil hose which was only 6 months old had uncoiled and I needed a replacement. I hadn’t thought of this type of hose until looking up what was available and I have to say I imagined it might not be as flexible as the coil type and I expected to either love it or hate it but it was worth trying - I personally love it - she who dares wins. It was easy to fit. My initial thoughts that it might not be flexible or ‘behave’ in the way the other type do and been unfounded. Initially when fitted it did seem a bit stiff but a tiny tweek put it in the right place and now after every shower it goes back into the same position with problem. Mine is on a riser at one end so sits in a nice vertical loop. The big bonus for me with this product is that it is easy wipe clean - I have a walk in shower/wet room type bathroom and I wipe down the tiles and hose after showering just to keep the damp under control as there is no outside window – maybe that is why the coil type one failed so soon I don’t know but this one is much easier to wipe dry. The finish also looks good its its a metallic matt silver. In usage I find no difference with this one and the other one and I am therefore glad I dared to try it. Technical stuff on box says - anti scratch – 5 bar pressure resistant – universal ½” connection - 50 kg strong to tension – twist free - resistant to 70C. I hope that helps anyone looking

I found it very hard to choose the right colour to go with shiny chrome fittings (shower head etc) as there are so many conflicting comments. Trust me! If you have chrome fittings this is the colour that matches and it looks great. I bought it a little longer than the old fashioned hose I was replacing (1,75m vs 1.5m) recognising that it's less flexible and needs more hose to get round a corner. When it came out of the packaging it was cold and tightly coiled and I thought it would never lie flat on my shower wall. Fitting was a breeze. Just unscrew the old and screw on the new. No leaks and I only used finger tight. The longer of the two screw fittings goes on the shower head and fitted neatly and precisely into the holder (must be a standard size). Even when tight, the top fitting magically allows the shower head to rotate without undoing (very clever) and with no leaks. I turned the shower up to very hot and the new hose became immediately flexible and could easily be twisted into place neatly against the wall. The extra length helped too. At £17 it's an absolute bargain. Great to look at. Easy to clean. The swivel on the top fitting. Absolute Quality! I love it!

This product really is a must fr modern bathrooms. Not only does it look great but is so easy to keep clean...no mold forming in metal creases etc. No change in pressure as a result of the changeover so I still have a great shower and very importantly no scratching the tiles. Win Win.

Great replacement nearly 5 years ago but has now started to leak at the joint near the shower head. It's not the washer joint but the flexible joint where the hose fits into the metal collar. I have ordered another one, the only consolation is that it is £3 cheaper than when I purchased the last one nearly 5 years ago.

Love this hose! This is the second one I have bought, the first was for my shower and this one for my parents who also love it! The way it allows the shower head to rotate without twisting the pipe is just brilliant! It's easy to clean unlike those horrible corrugated things and looks great! Would definitely recommend.

The original Vado shower hose lasted about three years before it started to fall apart but the constant issue was the black mould that built up in the grooves on the outer surface - a nightmare to clean. This hose isn't quite as flexible as the original but the smooth surface will make it so much easier to clean and it provides a more powerful flow so delighted all round. We have other Grohe products in our house and the quality is top notch.

After suffering loss of pressure and leaking in my Mira 'Jump' Shower, I had enough, and looked into fixing it. I'd tied the old spiral hose in a knot, to stop the flow of water spraying out like a geyser, it was terrible, but when looking at the replacements, it was the usual confusion of what fitted etc etc. So did some checking and measurement, and bought this, spot on, one review said it fitted a Mira but not exactly the same model, but the connector looked same, and it was. It was dispatched from Germany, yet still got here ultra fast, package was a bit squished, no damage to actual hose, just box, no biggie, fitted in minutes, absolutely instant recovery of my pressure and no leaking. Massive plus is the maintenance, the metal spiral one was constantly getting gunked up as the area I live in is incredibly hard water, limescale is a major nuisance here. So this being a plastic material is a breeze to clean. The actual genuine replacement was incredibly high cost and this at a fraction, is a no brainer. Excellent.

This hose fits perfectly and provides better flow than the old one even though internal diameter is the same - seems to be around 5.5mm but has really good flow with my shower pump. Luckily there are no leaks from the side that connects to the water supply, as per a few other reviews. Interestingly I have a Grohe shower downstairs with a similar hose. I tried that one upstairs and it leaks even though it looks the same! So it may or may not leak at the water supply depending on your connection.

Abituato ad un flessibile (sempre Grohe) di tipo rinforzato a spirale ero un po' dubbioso su questo nuovo sistema a tubo liscio. Dopo varie settimane di uso devo dire che questo nuovo di tipo liscio è veramente eccezionale. È molto più flessibile, più antitorsione e più facile da pulire. Il montaggio è stato semplicissimo e i materiali che lo compongono sembrano di ottima qualità. Se dura come l'ultimo (a spirale rinforzata) sarà tutto da vedere.

J'ai eu besoin de remplacer le flexible de douche mais je cherchais un produit long et surtout facile à nettoyer (vive le calcaire) Les flexibles annelé sont une vrai purge à garder propre. Du Grohe de 1.75m à moins de 12€, la je dis Bravo ! Super simple à installer, embout tournant qui évite de vriller le flexible et une superbe qualité. Il est plus rigide qu'un flexible annelé, mais en terme de longévité et entretien nettement au dessus, donc c'est tout à fait acceptable.
