how do you check motorcycle battery? what setting?

Set on 0-20volts on the DC setting;touch the 2 battery terminals with the probes,the voltage should be 13 or 6.5 :or with the engine running 13.75 or 6.8. Martin Haylock

does this have audible continuity?

If you just want continuity, rig up a bulb/buzzer/6v battery in a small plastic box with as much wire as you need and 2 croc clips. This is not good for that. Also the leads are very poor quality and the probes.

How do you change the battery in this is it a cover or screws

It has a slide down cover on the reverse side , retained with one screw which you undo first this enables you to slide the cover off and expose the 9 vault battery
