Great Quality For The Price! I Am More Than Happy!
Ok first of all, the previous reviewer is correct this is either fully fake or is a v1 pro controller that has been modded. HOWEVER this is not a bad thing! The build quality of this controller is great! I have both the v1 & v2 official ones and the dpad is slightly smaller on these ones but everything else feels exactly the same! I even prefer the slightly smaller dpad anyway and always preferred the street fighter x tekken madcatz pads over the street fighter IV ones because of the smaller dpad they had. The circle button does not seem to stick in like the official v did as well i have been purposefully trying to get it to stick for over an hour now in fighting games and it is fine. Everything feels responsive including the dpad, infact other than the slightly smaller size it feels and responds just the same as the normal ones!At the end of the day it is a bargain at this price and you would be daft to not buy one! Im just about to purchase a second one to use on the PC, you could buy 3 of these for the same price one of the official ones new from a shop like GAME etc would cost!.

This review is for the listing for improved madcatz fightpad pro sold by seller S Sam and fulfilled by Amazon. The listing is not as advertised but can be fixed.Mk 11 is round the corner and there are very few fightpads available currently. Read this full review before purchase. I was initially unsure what I'd purchased here but this is not a factory stock new madcatz fightpad pro. Pad was not factory sealed and had been opened and had fingerprints on the pad. Pad has definitely been modified and is not the new version. D pad is significantly smaller than the stock madcatz improved d pad and is more in line with the d pad on the replica fightpad pros. The circle button also stuck like the original version of the fightpad pro which had been replaced in the updated version 2.I had to do an hour's work on this to get it to work better. Inside the pad there was significant scoring under the d pad cross as if this had been scored away to increase movement. However this was inneffective. You have to file down the d pad cross and button holes on the face for the pad to function better. Checked pcb to see if it was genuine madcatz which it appears to be.Stock out of the box this will be of no use for street fighter or anything using dp or qc movements. Dp comes out as a fireball about 90% of the time. After modification this went up to about 60-70% success rate for dps but still far too inconsistent if you're a serious sf player.I purchased it to play mk11. Works fine for mk after modding.I think what you are getting here is a new, faulty, original madcatz v1 pad that has been modified with a new dpad to "improve" it. The mods done by the seller do nothing. But you can fix it.As long as you're aware of what youre getting in to, for the cheap price, ease of availability and if you dont mind doing some work on it (file down the d pad cross and button holes, there's videos on youtube by dirkdigglerdan.) You can't grumble too much. I regularly mod sticks etc so the work didnt bother me now that I have a pad that works well for MK which is what I purchased it for.If you need a new fightpad and are happy to do a bit of work. Buy this while it's available at the 13.99 price point. I'm buying a second one to fix and have as a spare. (Update second pad that arrived appeared to be completely new and factory sealed. Yet still required the same modding)If you think you're getting a brand new v2 fightpad pro, you're not. You are getting a new v1 fightpad pro that appears to have been worked on but needs a bit more work.If you want something for fighting games that does what its supposed to do straight out of the box and are intimidated by modding, pay a bit more for something else. However do not buy any version of the madcatz fightpad pro at any price unless you're willing to do a bit of work on it.Hope this helps anyone looking for a new fightpad.

So far so good
Used it for a day now, buttons are very responsive and I don't have any issues so far apart from getting use to it and me missclicking. I have seen the previous reviews saying daft stuff one saying about the buttons are in too much, I don't think it is that its just the button is flat unlike xbox controllers they are more like a dome. Someone talking about the dpad as well I really like it better than what I was using and it is also responsive maybe a bit to easy to press but not a major issue. In conclusion so far I think it is very good especially for the price I'll probably update the review in a weeks time. Ps it also works on pc if anyones wondering

It’s Official
This is not a fake it’s the real deal. I am not sure why the previous reviewer gave it a bad score. The buttons are responsive, and the improved dpad makes it easier to do moves.

Average
This isnt the real madcatz. It uses the same same parts as those dragonslay controllers. The dpad is tiny and not the regular madcatz size and buttons that feel half pressed in. The analog is matte and no rubber grip unlike the original madcatz. Returned as the smaller dpad and buttons didnt perform well at all. Bought from another seller and it was the normal madcatz one with normal dpad and buttons

Gute Idee, furchtbar schlechte Umsetzung
Was schon mal den potentiellen Käufer extrem verwirrt. Nettes Gimmick, Competitive SF Spieler -> FINGER WEG
