A bit of a monster, but a good 'un
It's a bit of a monster, size-wise, but at least the wifi connectivity allows you to locate it somewhere befitting its bulk - I've put it in a spare room about 10m from the main computer that I use and it connects fine. Quality of the print is very good and the duplex unit works well. Ink economy seems good so far, but I'll reserve judgement until it's seen a few more month's service. One of the main reasons I bought this printer was for its A3 scanning capability and I'm very pleased with that. I've scanned at 300, 600, and 1200 dpi and this works fine - 1200 dpi scans are very slow, as you'd expect, but I rarely need this resolution. The technical spec on the HP website says that hardware scan resolution is limited to 600 dpi for A3, but then it says that optical scans can go up to 1200 dpi (for all sizes) - might be worth digging deeper if you need to regularly scan above 600 dpi to ensure it does what you need. I don't tend to print on A3 paper very often so the need to change paper in the single multi-purpose tray isn't a problem for me, although it might be irritating if you have to switch formats frequently.I see the price has crept up another £30 or so since I bought mine so I think I bagged quite a bargain - might be worth looking at the website that has three camels in its name to see how prices have fluctuated...

After about 2 wks of use I have to say this is by far the best printer ive ever owned
I bought this mainly because I needed a bunch of prints and it worked out cheaper to buy this and buy them all online individually. After about 2 wks of use I have to say this is by far the best printer ive ever owned, so many cool features... Scanner, Photocopier, Fax, A3 printing, Wireless Printing to name afew, plus all the features can be taken advantage of via the the HP mobile app allowing everything to be done remotely if needed. The print quality is fantastic and after around 40+ colour prints im still knowhere near having to change the ink cartridges. One thing I must stress is that this printer is huge, if you planning to buy for a home setup make sure you have the space, check the dimensions and measure before you click buy. This is a great printer for anyone who needs to do alot of high quality colour printing, it also works really well with continuous ink systems. If you need a new printer I recommend considering this as an option

Almost new , excellent purchase at a great price.
This was to replace a failed 7510 printer. This range of printers work really well with superb connectivity and painless wireless use. The print quality is as good as any inkjet that I have seen. The only downside is the high ink costs and I am nervous that my 7510 has had a printhead failure after only moderate use (This printer uses the same printhead). This is no reflection on the seller who has been great.

This is the worst printer I've ever owned
This is the worst printer I've ever owned, It's safe to say that if it were the only HP printer I'd ever owned, I'd never buy anopther HP product again. I bought it because I need to print technical drawings in A3. The problem is that the printer really doesn't print in A3 easily. I have to re-istall the full driver almost every time I use it (the basic "class" driver will not allow you to print to A3). The hopeless HP app doesn't have a setting to tell it to print the original size, so my 1:50 drawings end up coming out off scale. If I try to print directly from the windows print function, I can select "orignial size" but not A3 paper! The HP 8600 officejet that sits besides this one gives me no bother and prints perfectly well, but this printer is about to go to WEE recycling - it's totally unfit for purpose. Avoid.

A3 scanner is good value. Print quality is quite good once photos ...
Negative points:Don't believe the "half the printing price than a colour laser" hype. 50 pages and the ink cartridges provided are empty. Doesn't bod well the future cost of ownership.Noisy and slow to respond. Randomly loses ethernet connection. Sometimes picks up paper, screws it up and splits it out without being asked to print anything - strange.Software provided to control printer is very basic. Don't bother with HP Photo Creations - its rubbish.Photos come out washed out on draft and neon-glow on normal so you have to adjust them accordingly before printingPlus points:A3 scanner is good value.Print quality is quite good once photos adjustedPrints in draft quality quicklyLots of connection options.Would I buy one knowing what I know now? No.

Beware the HP bloatware to get A3 capability
The positives: The print quality on good (non-HP) shiny paper is excellent, possibly rivaling more expensive lasers. It is also fast. It is built like a tank and to get an A3 printer for this kind of money is fantastic. Putting it together and getting it working on a very secure network was really quite easy (MAC addresses are printed on the back of the machine). The negatives: No A3 feed on the scan, but you can do a single A3 sheet on the flat-bed. Now pay attention to this one! 2 stars were docked for the setup on a fresh install windows 10 machine is appalling. HP do not provide the A3 drivers to Microsoft so you HAVE TO INSTALL the usual HP bloatware that just gets in the way every time you print, just to be able to print A3. It does A4 just fine immediately, but not the A3. So you have to spend 30 minutes installing the software that you don't want or need, provide your telephone number and postcode to HP, endure being patronized about why you should use HP print cartridges then uninstall it all again just to get the A3 driver. Then do it all over again on every PC on the network. I really hope that someone from HP reads this because a 5 star product has been rated as 3 star because HP wants to control your life and how you use the product before you have even printed a [page. Let's be clear, after this fiasco, I will never, ever buy an HP printer cartridge again and will always use after-market products as I have always done for years without a problem ever.
