Four Stars
My son was thrilled with this but feels the sides are becoming battered and worn rather quickly.

Good table-tennis bat
I also have a Cornilleau Excell 800 Table Tennis Bat which I have used for sometime but decided to buy the 1000 to see if it improves my game. I play for enjoyment rather than league but still want to win my games. I love both my bats and although I have tried other makes these are by far the best for me. the 1000 is much lighter and so I have adjusted my game to not hit so hard but I cannot fault it. Any mistakes are down to me and not the bat. If you want a light bat which will spin then 1000 is the one to go for but if you need one which gives better accuracy then go for the 800.

Good for club play
Got this as a replacement for a really old Dunlop as the surfaces were starting to show their age a little bit and I don't really play enough to justify spending a lot on expensive replacements. So far the Cornilleau has been really enjoyable to play with. It's relatively light, but sturdy enough for some solid shots and the rubbers are reasonably grippy. You can't expect it to be amazing at this price, but all in all it's a nice reliable bat for club play.
