Oral B Pro 2 Electric Toothbrush - impressive results at a good price
I used to use Oral B electric toothbrushes myself for many years before moving over to another brand that I felt was more suited to me. I bought this Oral B toothbrush as a gift for someone who always uses this brand.I found it to be a sturdy brush, nicely made, and it handles well. Comfortable to hold and easy to use. For people who have never used an electric toothbrush before it is sensible to read the instructions fully and always begin with the low power option for a week or so.The timer is good, allowing 2 minutes for brushing - although on a personal level I always find I need 3 minutes but it is no hardship to press the on button a second time. This Oral B Pro 2 has a clever pressure control to ensure that you don't press the brush too hard against your teeth - and there is a visible light to warn you if you are doing that so you can make adjustments. It is always important not to press too hard when brushing and so this warning light is an excellent addition. This particular model is supplied with the Oral B 3D whitening toothbrush head. This was used first and I have to say there really was a noticeable difference in the teeth after brushing using an ordinary toothbrush. There really was a whitening effect which I didn't expect. The charge this brush holds is said to last up to 2 weeks - which is a decent time between charges. Although if you should brush your teeth more than twice a day, or for longer than the two minutes on the timer, you will likely find the brush needs charging a little more frequently.Supplied with a 2 pin plug, it is important for customers to know they also need to have a 2 pin adapter, such as a shaving plug, in order to plug it in for recharging. This is a pretty standard requirement for shavers and electric toothbrushes. All in all, I have given this 5 stars for build quality and for performance. It is definitely worth the asking price. One negative point, however... The brush comes complete with a travel case. However, it is impossible to fit the brush into the case, it is several mms too large to fit. It is doubtful the travel case would be needed and so I haven't reduced my rating because of this but, if you require the travel case, you will need to ensure the brush fits into it before you use it.

Best electric toothbrush
My first electric toothbrush was the Philips Sonicare gum Care which I purchased about 4 years ago but it died on me recently. I used to think this was more inferior to the Philips electric toothbrushes but how wrong I was. I've been using this for 3 weeks now and for those that are interested I below is a direct comparison with the Philips Sonicare Gum Health:Performance: Oral B wins hands down. Its so powerful it got rid of some of the plaque building up on my teeth. My teeth feel so much cleaner when I use it I never had that feeling using the Sonicare.Brush head:I prefer Oral B's rotary motion to Philips' sonic (side-to-side) motion. The rotary motion is proven to be slightly more effective which explains why Oral B electric toothbrushes are recommended by dentists. The shape of the Oral B brush head means its big enough to clean each tooth thoroughly as well as the gums. For those with braces you can purchase the orthadontic heads on amazon which are brilliant. I don't think Philips make the orthodontic brush heads.Battery life: I have braces so clean my teeth for about three and a half to four minutes twice a day. So far I have had to charge every 7-10 days and this is where Oral B lags the Sonicare. The charge on the Somicare used to last me about 3 weeks and 2 weeks when I had braces but I'm so impressed with the Oral B I can easily overlook this.Value for Money: Obviously the Oral B is much better value. My Philips elec toothbrush cost me £75 and that was four years ago. The version I got may have gone down in price but for a good quality brush e.g. their Diamond Clean line you're paying £100+. I bought this toothbrush with a travel case for £35 and it performs much better than the Sonicare. The only thing I can't comment on is the lonegivity of the product. My Philips brush lasted four years which I think is very good but my husband had a cheaper Oral B electric toothbrush which lasted him 5 years so hopefully this one will hold up.If you want to up your oral hygiene buy this toothbrush, you will be impressed at the performance especially given the price.

The bets investment on my teeth!
I have read several reviews onsite for a more sophisticated model and I'm so glad I have chosen this model despite the so-called latest models.this brush is well worth the money spent and more than anything of what is required to work on your teeth, No, I don't want Bluetooth functionality on my toothbrush but just a clean powerful machine to clean the corners that ic ant do otherwise with a normal brush.Battery life is good and it comes more than a week for me. So far good, I also managed to purchase sensitive brush heads in a black Friday dealThe only thing I would point is that I never got to see the warning light illuminating, it may be because i haven't put more pressure yet on the teeth or this could be faulty, but it's difficult to conclude.Overall a great brush for a decent price!! If you are thinking which ORAL b to chyoose, GO for this model!!
