This is a powerful air pump for aquariums, purchased in January 2025 and still going strong. I still use under gravel filters after 40 plus years. I need decent pumps to run the filters and I also need a back up pump. I have purchased three of these pumps to run two different tanks and as a back up. These air pumps are not very noisy but they do vibrate, if it touches something can create noise. The produce a lot of air and are very reliable. Very low power consumption so will not drive your electricity bill through the roof. The pump will, by the very nature of how it works, produce a small amount of heat so I recommend it being positioned in a ventilated area. I have often stored these pumps in the cupboard of an aquarium cabinet. Remember to buy an anti siphon filter if you do this and the pump is below the water level. Next day delivery and great value. over the years I have used a lot of All Pond Solutions products and can recommend them.

I am actually pretty happy with this pump, reading the reviews I was sceptical that it would be too loud, there is a slight buzz but it isn't too bad at all and is great for the price. I have my fish tank in the kitchen so you can't really hear it over everything else anyway! I would recommend getting an ornament to go with this rather than just using the stones as it looks so pretty! It can run up to two air flows at once but I just have a 30l tank for my goldfish so run at the lowest setting with one. I bought the pump as he kept swimming to the top for air, he hardly does this at all now so has definitely helped with the oxygen levels in my tank. Please note, it isn't very clear how to attached the non return valves (they don't just slot into the pump) I had to improvise and cut a bit of the tube to attach it, seems to work fine though!

I have to say I am very impressed with this air pump. I wasn't expecting alot for the price but it far exceeded my expectations. The product comes with everything you will need to start getting air into a tank, pump, tubing, air stones and even the one way valves. The amount of of that this can output is very impressive, it could very easily compete with my fluval dual output that cost over 5 times the price for everything. The pump does create some noise but the rubber feat do a good job at reducing vibration and aslong as nothing is touching it, I find that it makes no more noise than a pump. The adjustable air flow is a nice touch that means that you can dial it in to the exact flow you want, a thing that some more expensive pumps don't have. I would recommend this set, I would almost consider it over a more expensive one depending on what you are keeping

The air pump itself works fine. I would have given it 4 stars but the air tubes connected to the air pump keeps coming off daily, so air stops pumping into the tank, and it is quite difficult to push the tube back on well. Because it happens quite often I need to find a solution else I will loose all my fish when there is no one home or if I'm away for a few days to push it back on.

I was using a Boyu 4 port air pump and on the lowest setting the noise was driving me nuts, after reading a few of the reviews about the 180l pump i thought i would give it a try as the price was reasonable, I ordered 2 to replace the 4 port i was using, the items you get with the pump make this a really good deal, I dont know much about the ABS shell/Casing but if it is to help reduce noise it most definitely works, when the pump arrives you need to turn the black dial anti clockwise to get it to the lowest setting because i am running 2 large sponge filters off 1 pump and it copes really well on lowest setting, for once i can say i have found an air pump where the maker doesn't lie about the noise this is one of the quietest air pumps i have ever bought, i now have 4 of them and they are all running supplying air to large sponge filters and air stones in 3 of my tanks all in my living room and im so happy to say that all i can hear is a gentle hum but mostly all i hear are bubbles from the air stones. i can leave these running 24/7 unlike my boyu which i had to turn off at night, Amazon limits you to buying 3 of these so i got my brother to buy my 4th one. i have no problems recommending the 180l/h white air pump with the ABS shell i LOVE this little air pump, this is a total no brainer in my opinion. 10 stars
