Soft Claws Feline Nail Caps Med Clear

I was at my wits end, trying to figure out how to keep my cats from scratching all my expensive furniture and rugs. Thank goodness I found Feline Soft Claws on Amazon. The high ratings convinced me that it was worth a try. My rugs and furniture have been saved, and my cats seem to have gotten used to having the claws on them after a short period of curiosity and frustration. They are able to scratch themselves and seem good now.

I bought some of these for our tabby who had started scratching the furniture and they are great. Follow the instructions and you won't go wrong. One application lasted 3 months, I only put them on the front claws as they are the main problem, which means the packet lasted longer. I also thought it best to leave the back ones off for better grip when being chased by the dog!My instructions would be:-1.Sort the claw covers and prep them all with glue away from the cat before you start2.Wrap cat in bathtowel or get someone to hold for you.3.Trim cat claws with nail clipper4.Gently push each nail cover on5.All done - give the cat a treat as they will sulk for a while!!

after years of my suites and furniture being completely destroyed, i found soft claws! these are good but my cats needs all claws covered and there is only 20 in the pack, so a week passed and some came off, would be better if more spares were included in the packs to be honest.

Questo articolo mi era stato sconsigliato da veterinario e toelettatrice, che sostenevano che fosse innaturale e che avrebbe costretto il gatto a tenere gli artigli sempre di fuori, con il rischio di spezzarsi le unghie e il nervo sottostante. Col senno di poi, capisco che mi hanno detto questo solo per IGNORANZA e senza la minima conoscenza del prodotto. Esasperata dalle porte rovinate ne ho comprata una confezione... magari Iddio lo avessi fatto Prima! Intanto, la toelettatrice restia ha applicato I soft claws senza alcuna difficolta’ e Il mio gatto si e’ addirittura addormentato durante l’ applicazione. Poi , io ho scelto quelli trasparenti e sono il massimo della discrezione. Terzo, il gatto corre, gioca e “ graffia” come prima ( pero’ stavolta non fa danni) , segno evidente che non viene inibito nessun comportamento naturale e che lui non avverte fastidio alcuno. Se solo avessi dato retta al mio istinto, mi sarei risparmiata un sacco di graffi in casa.Unico neo: nella confezione si trovano 5 applicatori, ma sono insufficienti ....i cappuccetti non cadono tutti contemporaneamente, ad ogni applicazione serve un applicatore nuovo che poi non si puo’ Riutilizzare perché la colla dentro si solidifica e va a finire che mi sono rimasti molti cappuccetti che pero’ non posso usare perché mi manca l’ applicatore....Il venditore potrebbe contattarmi e spedirmene di aggiuntivi?Prodotto favoloso. Lo consiglio. E lo ricomprero’ sicuramente.

Zu allererst: Ich halte nichts davon, diese Krallenkappen zum Schutz der Möbel einzusetzen, denn den Katzen die Kratz- und Wetzmöglichkeit zu nehmen, ist fast schon Tierquälerei, da man den Katzen eines ihrer Grundbedürfnisse raubt. Bei Freigängern kann dies sogar gefährlich enden, wenn sie plötzlich nicht mehr klettern können oder sich vor anderen Revierkämpfern nicht mehr verteidigen können.Allerdings sind die DIE RETTUNG, wenn es um Wundkratzen bei Juckreiz geht!!Bei mir kommt dieser Krallenschutz nur an den Hinterpfoten zum Einsatz und er war meine letzte Option, bevor ich vollkommen verzweifle. Jeder Katzenbesitzer weiß, wie schlimm es ist, wenn sich das Tier unentwegt blutig kratzt und man hilflos daneben steht. Ich versuche zwar durch Ausschlussdiät weiterhin die Ursache zu finden und wir sind auch regelmäßig beim TA für weitere Untersuchungen, aber bis der Juckreiz aufhört, sind diese Kappen ein Segen, denn dadurch kann er sich kratzen soviel er will, die Haut kann endlich abheilen und wird nicht mehr aufgekratzt.Anders als in der Anleitung angegeben habe ich die Krallen vorher nicht gekürzt, es ging auch so. Ich hatte Gr. M und L bestellt, da mein Kater mittelgroß ist und ich unsicher war, welche passen. Für die beiden mittleren Krallen benutze ich die L, für die beiden äußeren die M, allerdings bin ich mir jetzt sicher, dass die M komplett gereicht hätten. Den Kleber bekommt man gut mit der Kanüle in die Spitze rein (nur zu 1/3 füllen, denn es darf nichts rausquillen --> könnte das Tier sonst ablecken, Kleber ist giftig) und während mein Kater frisst, kann ich ihm in Ruhe die Kappen bis zum Anschlag vorne aufziehen, dabei bleibt immer noch genug Abstand zur Haut. Dabei drücke ich vorne an der Spitze etwas rum, damit die Kralle auch wirklich gut festklebt. Dann kraul ich ihn noch 5 min, um die Trocknungszeit zu überbrücken, fertig!Einziger Nachteil: Wenn eine Kralle nicht so gut saß oder durch den normalen Krallen"abwurf" wieder abfällt, muss man extra für einen neuen Krallenschutz eine Kanüle "opfern" (denn die ist ja nach Gebrauch verklebt und muss entsorgt werden) und davon sind nur ein paar (ich meine 5-6) pro Packung dabei. Es fallen ja leider nicht alle Kappen zusammen ab. Daher müsste man entweder warten, bis so nach und nach mehrere Krallenkappen abfallen und dann wieder mit einer Kanüle mehrere neue ankleben, aber in der Zwischenzeit würde sich das Tier ja wieder wund kratzen. Da ich sofort eine abgefallene Kappe wieder neu anklebe, sind die Kanülen bei mir leider schnell aufgebraucht. Zum Glück war meine Tierärztin so lieb und hat mir ganz viele umsonst geschenkt von sehr ähnlichen Kanülen, die sie selbst in der Praxis im 500er Pack bestellt. Die muss ich mir nur ein bisschen kürzen und dann kann ich die auch nutzen :-)Mein Kater ist übrigens von Anfang an normal gelaufen und hat auch nur beim Putzen kurz bemerkt, dass da was anders ist und nach einmaligem Versuch, die Dinger abzuzupfen mit den Zähnen hat er sie seitdem ignoriert. Auf mich wirkt es nicht so, als würden sie ihn irgendwie behindern. Er ist aber auch von der gemütlichen Sorte und springt/klettert nicht rum.

With my cat I had no problem, but he is very calm and easy to handle.Pros:If applied properly they will last a while.Works very well, with little to no discomfort for your cat (but this may depend on the cat of course).Doesn't look weird.Cheaper than declawing your cat or buying all new furniture.Can be quickly applied.Cons:It takes two people to do this, one to put the glue in the caps and one to hold the cat and put the caps on. You can put glue in the caps first but honestly, using two people is just easier.After putting all the caps on its just not practical to try and hold you cat for ten minutes to prevent him/her from running around like they have just been freed from prison or chewing them off in some cases.The directions encourage you to make sure your cat remains still after application. They obviously have never owned cats. I will tell you that my cat immediately vacated my lap and licked his feet for about twenty minutes before peacefully falling asleep in the sun after I put on the caps, but only one ended up falling off later that day. Personally I think it was because I failed to put enough glue in the caps. I also made the mistake of buying caps that were a size medium instead of large. Make sure you buy the right size for your kitty.Some people say the cats seem more relaxed once their claws are capped. I didn't notice this. Some people say it makes them more aggressive because they are unable to use their claws for protection, so instead they bite. I didn't notice this either. There was no change in the personality of my cat, it just prevented him from scratching the arm of my couch and the corner of my mattress.

ca devient une habitude ! depuis presque 2 ans que j'utilise ce produit mon chat ne griffe plus les tapisserie, il vient même me demander de lui remettre une griffe quand il en perd une. Cela prouve qu'il s’habitue plus que bien au produit.Je conseille donc à toutes celles et tous ceux qui ont un chat griffeur d'acheter ce kit.Je pense que celui qui est le plus à former pour la pose est le maitre.Le chat regarde, tend la patte, couper un bout de griffe avec un coupe ongle c'est facile, mettre un peu, trés peu de colle dans la griffe en plastique nécessite de bons yeux et ensuite suffit de recouvrir la vraie griffe avec le protège griffe en plastique.Simple, redoutable d'efficacité, le chat peu toujours monter sur les arbres, il se fait toujours les griffes sur son arbre, par contre s'il tente de le faire sur la tapisserie, ça dérape. Du coup, il a abandonné et il devenu sage !!!En fait, un super plan
