Revlon Lash Glue, Dark

Ordered this as this was the glue I used to use when I first began wearing strip lashes, as I like squeezy glue, this is easy to brush onto the strip lash without waisting any. I went to the duo lash glue and was using that for years without a problem when I suddenly developed a bad irritation to the glue, my eyes felt itchy and as though they were burning and would swell slightly every time I used the duo lash glue, I change strip lashes and tried new make up products for my eyes incase it was anything else but it was ruled down to the glue, so I bought a new duo lash glue in case it was just mine being old or out of date and the same problem occurred with a brand new tube, so I went back to my trusty revlon glue as I knew I never had problems with it and I’ve been using it again for around a month or so now and no irritation 😊 I guess I’ll just stick to this for the future because I know it always has worked for me. It’s such a great glue, really sticky when applying but dries nicely with no evidence of glue on the striplash whilst wearing them. Doesn’t dry out and easy to apply with the brush applicator, long lasting glue keeps my lashes on all day even during a little cry haha! Definitely my favourite!

This lash glue is great and really easy to use. It dries clear so you don’t need eyeliner to cover up the white glue as with the standard glue in most products and it held my lashes on perfectly and dries really quickly. Its also a good sized bottle that will last a while but still easily fits into a clutch to be taken out with you.

For years I could not get the hang of applying lashes and thought it was me. I bought DUO and a few others and all were the same, very runny with no sticking power. I missed out on years of wearing falsies! I recently decided to try again and saw the good reviews for this Revlon Lash Glue and decided to take the plunge. This stuff is awesome! It is really black (as opposed to grey as some other dark lash glues are) and you only need a small amount. The brush applicator is also very handy because it distributes the right amount of glue. You only have to wait 20-25 seconds and the glue gets tacky(no waiting for 1 minute and wondering why the glue is still runny) and the lashes immediately stick. I feel so happy now! I will now by a big haul of lashes! I am tired of wearing waterproof mascara and having black panda eyes, itchy eyes, styes and sore lids from rubbing it off. It sounds exaggerated but I feel like I am free! I will always stick with this brand from now on!

Effective long lasting eye lash glue that does not have the nasties in that another popular brand has. I have bought a few of these over the months/years.Just one word of warning. Try to gently ease the brush into the little plastic bottle after applying to lashes so as not to force some glue to squish out and to form a sticky rim outside of the container. This is easily done too. If this happens then this rim of tackiness adheres to one's fingers that need to be free of same when picking up the eyelashes in order to place them delicately in the right position on ones lids. If your fingers are sticky then the lashes won't leave the fingers and adhere to the lids! The rim of external glue sometimes steadily increases with usage and this in turn attracts the other objects in ones make-up purse like large pins to a magnet.. the eyebrow pencil and the eyelash wand and lipsticks etc etc. So if possible and this is not easy - keep the glue from squishing over onto the outer rim of the bottle and causing a band of tackiness that adamantly sticks to fingers and items in ones make-up purse and causes a lot of frustration especially if one is in a hurry and can't get ones fingers unstuck from the eyelashes that won't take to the lids because of this having happened! It woud be really good if REVLON did something about this problem for frequent false eyelash users like myself!

Hope this review helps beginners! This glue is absolutely amazing! I’m new to glue on strip lashes as I’ve been having Salon Russian Volumes for over 2 years constantly. I have tried strip lashes years ago an never got on well with them so was dubious and Obviously with the lockdown I couldn’t continue with salon ones so I bought some strip lashes off here (a ten pack for £8.99) I bought the lashes and this glue out of sheer fear lol.. really couldn’t imagine life without long lashes, even in lockdown. Anyway I read loads of reviews on lashes/glue realised glue is probably the most important thing and based on reviews went for this. I’m so glad I did. Firstly make sure your lashes are trimmed to YOUR size if needed, then apply this glue evenly making sure you leave for about 10/20 seconds to go tacky then line up and press down gently with some tweezers. I don’t touch them at all for a good few minutes after they’ve stuck down and then they just last. I’ve slept in them as a little experiment and I have sleep apnea so fidget a lot an have restless sleep and they stay absolutely firmly intact. Honestly don’t hesitate with this glue just stop looking and buy 😊. I don’t reuse lashes as they’re so cheap on here but I genuinely will never go back to salon ones now it’s just a waste of time an money and when using this glue and making sure lashes fit your eyes you can’t go wrong. Dries clear which is main thing for me so I was happy in that respect. Waterfoof to an extent but not 100%. Strong glue and my lashes nearly last a full day. May lift a little at inner corner but the small brush applicator it easy to touch up. My problem with this item is the bottle. After use- it starts having product build up around the lid. When you close thr lid product squirts out over edge making bottle sticky and messy. Not to say wasting a lot of product. Have used almost everyday for months so it does last though.
