Great solution but definitely temporary
Was a great temporary filling, easy to apply but even when hard it remained chalky. A very good temporary fix but for those wondering, wouldn't be suitable for a longer-term solution because it's not durable enough.

Saved me a lot of pain - and money for temp fixes
EDIT: After using this and going back to the dentist, he commented on the neat job it did and it posed no difficulty in removal.I had an accident in my past that left me with a fractured tooth. I was advised by the dentist that it would eventually fail, but as it wasn’t causing any problems, I may as well leave it and monitor it. Several years on and it caught up with me. A chunk broke off and left me with a sharp edge. The dentist did an emergency filling with an appointment for a permanent repair in 4 weeks, but within 2 days it broke out – curse my love for salted peanuts!I took a punt with this and wish I had done it earlier rather than pay for a temporary filling. It was really easy to use. Inside the pot is a little roll of a thick paste. Kind of like putty but a lot thicker and dryer. You simply use the provided tool to take a sliver off, roll this into a ball and push it into the void. There were more detailed instructions, but that was it in a nutshell. A wet finger can smooth it over and it naturally dries to a hard layer. Probably best to do it before bed so you don’t have to think about it.Recommendations – Clean your teeth and rise with mouthwash – you don’t want to trap bacteria in the gap. Don’t put too much in to start with. Get the feel of where it is before you push it in as it can be awkward if you need to use your least dominant hand and you can’t directly see it in a mirror. If you get it wrong, remove it straight away before it hardens, although not a major problem as it will eventually come out. Any overfill should be smoothed off and removed. It is only a temporary fill and not fix. It can keep food debris out, prevent anything touching a nerve and thus relieve pain. You may need to repeat application depending on where it is used. For me it was on my molar on a side that I chew the most and absentmindedly eaten on that side and broken the repair twice – will someone take these peanuts away from me!It can easily break off, but it is only designed to be a fix until you get to see a dentist within a few days. Unfortunately, whoever stated this clearly doesn’t have an NHS dentist with a backlog of 6 weeks.Bottom line – can save you a lot of pain and is a good enough fix until you can get a permanent repair. Might be something to take on holidays from now on.

Didn't work well.
It is value for money. This did not work for me. It kept falling out of the tooth. Gave up in the end.

Try something else if you eat food at all
I’d rate this just above useless.I filled in my broken filling exactly as described - wash mouth with warm water (even brushed my teeth again before doing so), take a small amount and roll it into a ball etc. But, after 12 hours it still hasn’t “set”. It remains a hard-ish concoction that you can erode just by rubbing your finger across it. You get a residue of white powder on your finger by doing so.So, after waiting 12 hours I figured it would be ok to eat something. Wrong. Half of the “filling” has now worn away - so, in other words, I’ve swallowed half of the filling during eating my chicken sandwich! Nice.Absolute waste of time.Seriously. I can only assume that the people giving it positive reviews have the filling on a tooth that doesn’t get used when they eat? I have no idea. All I know is that for me, on a back “chewing” tooth, it’s a complete waste of time.

Effective Temporary Solution When Instructions Are Followed
and I’m pleasantly surprised by how well it works! It’s a great quick fix for filling in a cavity or covering a chipped tooth until you can see a dentist. The application process is straightforward, but it’s essential to follow the instructions carefully for the best results. If you do, the filler stays in place and provides a surprisingly solid temporary solution. The filler molds easily to the tooth, and once set, it feels comfortable and secure. It doesn’t interfere with chewing, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve used it for a few days now, and it’s still holding up well. However, the key is to follow the instructions closely—if you don’t, it might not set properly or could wear down quicker. It’s not a long-term solution, but for a temporary fix, it works great. If you're in need of a quick, temporary tooth filler, I’d definitely recommend this product as long as you follow the directions carefully.it stands out slightly, especially on back teeth as it is pure white . The pot size is small, but it's a cost-effective option for a quick solution until you can see a dentist. It’s not a long-term fix, but for the price, it’s definitely worth it.

Very temporary
I used it to fill a deep hole in my molar that is awaiting root canal work. The temporary filling done by the dentist was no good so I used Dentek tooth filler. The Dentek stuff appeared to work initially but after 24 hours the filling has gone. I need to find something more durable to last several weeks until my next dental appointment.

Amazing product, does the job!
Incredible product!I used it to fill a broken filling whilst I had to wait 3 weeks to see my dentist and again to cover a crown that came off within 2 weeks of being fitted. It's done both jobs and lasted well. For under £5 I can't recommend this product enough.
