This is a very robust Watch. Made by watchmakers Timex, a brand you can trust.This is my third Expedition in 20 years. I have worn them continually in that time and find they put up with the riggers of my work as a carpenter, unlike many others. The light up dial is a brilliant function. used for the quick time check at night or places like the cinema so you don't disturb others or dazzle yourself. Don't buy a watch for its Brand name buy one worth having and for less.

I bought this watch as I wanted something classic but rugged.I love it! It’s not too big and bulky on my wrist, comfortable with the leather strap and holds time well.I also love the illumination feature which works really well.Well worth the money!

Easy to read dial, looks good, and comfortable.

Nothing to dislike.

I took the back off to replace the battery. It's now impossible to get it back on. I took it to a jewellers who couldn't do it either, so the watch is useless in under a year, and can't be returned. Do not buy.

The only watch I’d ever buy. This is a replacement after 15 years. Day, date. Glow face. Easy to read. I’m a navigator on a ferry. Nothing else would do for me.

Already had one of these watches for a number of years (more than 5 certainly). Bought a second for my wife to replace a heavier, more expensive, watch. She is just as pleased as I am with it. Decent size, easy to read and very handy light-up dial for viewing in the dark. Good leather strap and waterproof to 100m (which simply means you can use it for regular swimming without concern). Crystal operation so no battery (or at least I haven't had to replace one in my first watch!!). Despite all the positives, still fairly light weight.Would highly recommend especially at only £50 (ish).
