Nice low-profile mount for a helmet cam
I'm really happy with these. I had been using a Gecko mount, but when I switched to a new helmet, I no longer had any place where the Gecko mount would fit (due to the size of the suction cup, and the angles on the helmet). I decided to give this a shot, and it worked better than I had hoped. I've had it on my helmet for a couple months now, and it is holding on fine despite the curves of the helmet. I was worried they would start to peel off due to the angles or due to wind pushing on the camera.Basically these are rubber mounting brackets for your Contour camera, and they are held on by double-sided tape. It bonded really strong to my helmet, so make sure you have the angles and everything adjusted just right before attaching it, because you can't readjust the mount. I haven't ridden in any rain, so no idea how the glue that holds them on will handle getting wet, but it has survived nearly daily freeway use without issue.Pros- Low Profile- Glue is strong- Stays stuck even to a curved helmet surfaceCons- No adjustments. If you get it wrong you've got to peel it off and buy a new one.

Warning: Replace Every 6 Months
I've used these with my +2, on my Arai helmet. I mounted per the instructions, including 24 hr wait period. It held great for the first 4 or 5 months, but then I noticed that the mount was pulling away from the adhesive. I repeat... The mount was pulling away from the "adhesive". The adhesive to the helmet was just fine, in fact it was a bitc* to get off the helmet. It started coming off at the edges first, but still seemed to hold the camera firmly. My mistake was thinking that, as I lost my camera at 70mph while on a trip. Recovered the camera, but it's toast. The issue is the rail, with the camera attached, wants to pull the ends up straight. That, and the back of the mount itself is a very slick, so there's not enough texture on the mount for the adhesive to adhere to. Two things need to be done:1) the mount needs to be pre-bent in the manufacturing process, to prevent it from wanting to return to it's original form.2) the backside of the mount, where the adhesive touches, needs to be textured to better hold them together.I talked to Contour about this, they thanked me for the info, and would pass it on the the proper department....that was over a year ago.I replaced my +2 with another +2, because I love the camera. However, I won't use any of their adhesive mounts again, until they make the necessary changes. My advice? Use them at your own risk, but keep an eye on the edges pulling up, especially the leading edge. Figure on at least 2 a year if you do any serious mileage, say >15,000 miles annually.

Not Bad, but Delaminates After 6-12 Months of Use...
On curved applications (helmet and motorcycle fender in my case), the adhesive tape seems to delaminate after 6-12 months of use (I've ordered 3 sets of these). I think that's acceptable for the price, but makes it a 3-star purchase for having to replace it at that frequency. The delamination occurs on one end of the bend, so it's not a concern for losing the camera - it's more of a problem with the camera shaking due to the third of the mount floating.

MICH Helmet Mount
High-quality, robust and inexpensive; this mount is a great addition to my kit. As a firearms reviewer (for an outside website), I take a lot of footage, both on and off the range. I found that I needed a good mount for my Contour camera. This allows me to mount to my MICH helmet and get some very interesting footage while testing carbines, pistols and shotguns. The shooter's-eye view adds a new dimension to video reviews. Despite some rather hard impacts (both dropping the helmet and also sliding into a prone position), the mount has stayed glued to the side of my helmet. I'm impressed.

Grab a few while you still can find them!
Yep I was silly and chucked out my old helmet. Should have kept them and gotten new 3M tape. Luckily I found some more on line. If you only have a couple then buy some more if you have the Contour camera. When you get rid of your helmet to buy a new one (replace them every 3 years or if involved in an accident) but don't forget to take these off and get some 3M tape to put them on your new helmet.

Nice
these mounts allow you to adhere your camera to either side or top of your helmet, thereby giving you several options for positioning your camera. A bit easier tomount then the rotating mount, due to its configuration.

Great kit
I can understand why these are out of stock..Great piece of kit and easy to remove from your crash helmet with a piece of Floss tape. Bought these as spares as i was having a problem finding the right position for my Roam3 on my Flip up helmet. Now i need more but there out of stock here and at Contour uk..BUT Contour prices are half Amazons?

Better then expected
Much better quality than the single mount provided with the camera, which wouldn't have been hard to do. Good buy
