CUDA is king
I bought this card mainly for the CUDA cores for encoding purposes. For that task I can re-encode a approx 2 hour Blu-ray movie in .ts format, in approx 8 mins now. This is while using a Ryzen 1700 8/16 threads @3.75Ghz for my CPU. If I used the CPU alone it takes approx 17-18 mins using all cores and generating a lot of heat I might add that needs a decent cooler. If I use the CPU+GPU the CPU cores only use around 4 cores and medium load of around 40-60%, this generates waaay less heat, only getting upto around 45C instead of 75C. Whilst that is my main usage of the card, it's still a quite capable gaming card too, averaging approx 50FPS in the witcher 2... if you game a LOT though and want higher FPS or higher settings, then you'd be better off paying the extra for a 1060 for sure. This is a lovely small card that doesn't bother you and is very quiet indeed, it could overclock easily enough as temps aren't a problem, which might give you upto 9 FPS more.

A great budget card to invest in
A great budget card to invest in! Considering the price, it's a great choice as it can run most recent titles on high without a problem. Only drawback I would say would be the limitations of the 2GB VRAM, which you bump into on a few occasions; e.g trying to put Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Siege textures on high, so if it's within your budget I would advice to go with the TI version if possible.

Good
Very easy to install alright price as graphics cards are hard to get hold of at the moment

Zotac Geforce GTX 1050 - An excellent graphics card
An excellent graphics card packed into a shorter card length at a great price. Performance is pretty good as well with detail and colour depth looking sharp and clear respectively. Highly recommended.

Excellent!
We ordered this card for my son's computer as he couldn't play the Steam games on the PC with high graphics, e.g. Borderlands, GTA, human fall flat, Castlestory etc, so we installed this one without any problems, just plug and play. The fps went from 30 to 70 and my son said it was the best christmas present ever! It is very small, good for computers with not much space inside, and low power consumption. So good, we bought another for my other sons computer. Would definitely recommend!!

Budget gaming card with significant drawbacks
For those building a budget gaming PC this is a decent option but with some significant drawbacks. It's capable of hitting 60fps at 1080p on some graphically demanding games (such as The Division) on medium settings but pushing much beyond that sees a rather large drop off. The positives are it's size, it really is tiny in graphics card terms, which would make it something worth considering for those building in cases with tight space confines and the fact that is does not require power from the PSU (though that again speaks to the lack of punch it provides in performance). In reality, I think those putting together a budget gaming build would be better off making a few slight economies elsewhere in their set up and buying a 4gb 1050TI which, at the time of writing this review is only around £35 more expensive but would provide a much better gaming experience.

Best bang for you buck period, for not at least (older PSU/motherboards only!)
Best graphics card on the market if you have no power cable on your PSU, period. More modern GFX require a PSU cable so this is as good as it gets if you don't have one and it can play games like Killer Instinct on maxed settings but begins to show its age on more recent titles like Civilization 6 and Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition. Still more than playable however but will be obsolete in a few years.

GPU-Z in meinem Board: "PCIe x 16 2.0 @x8 2.0").

Good affordable performance video card for Dell 7020 mini tower with stock psu
I bought this video card for my new PC which is a Dell Optiplex 7020 mini tower with stock psu so i needed a card plug and play that required no connectors from psu because i dont have one. The Zotac GTX 1050 2gb is a Perfect fit, i just put it in my pc pci express slot and then install the drivers and its now working perfectly. My pc specs is a intel i5-4590, 12 gigs of ram and stock Dell psu. So far i'm very happy with my purchase i can play all my favorite games at a very high resolutions and good fps.
