Bio-Fem Active Gel 50ml Such a good product. I use it regularly as a 'preventer' for those times in life when niggly warning signals 'down below' suggest some attention!. I find that I rely on it for those less well defined but ongoing symptoms so often associated with menopause. This includes sensations as though I may be about to get a bladder infection, (i.e those initial sort of warning hyper sensitivity tingly feelings), before and after intimacy and as a general everyday moisturiser for the whole intimate area. I find that it keeps the delicate skin area in good condition - which often goes belly up for women of all ages and especially during and after menopuse. As someone who has always been prone to thush at various points in the menstrual cycle and now, during menopause at random times, it is brilliant at 'heading things off at the pass' (forgive the pun!). It is very economical when using, as a tiny amount goes a very long way. As someone who is very sensitive to many ingredients in such products, I have been pleasantly surprised to find that I don't have an allergic reaction to this product. It does slightly tingle when applied, but as the leaflet states, this is normal and disappears within a minute or so.

It really works! I love this cream! I felt pain during sex with my partner, i was really upset cos nothing worked, but then i tryed it during the week and used it also before to had sex, and it was really great! Im 100% satisfied and for sure i ll buy it again! I think this one is one of the most useful product i never bought before in amazon! Im really happy! IT WORKS!!!!! Just a tip: inside the box there is a small applicator, but i tryed to apply the cream whit a small syringe (WITHOUT THE NEEDLE!!!) to put the cream deeper, and it was good!

Tried it twice and both times BV came back after use. I had to get metronidazole gel from the Drs instead, only way to clear it. I'm sure it works for some if the infection is mild but not in all cases. Only found a mild burn with it, not too uncomfortable to use.

This is a wonder product. Having finished a second antibiotic course during pregnancy my body stopped responding to Clotrimazole. As I have been diagnosed with recurrent thrush only, I would not get prescribed anything else apart from it. Getting quite desperate, did my own research and got this one and feminine wash with added lactic acid and pH 3.5. These two together gave me an instant relief in just four days. Now everything came back to normal. Definitely recommend not only to BV sufferers, happened to be very effective in my case too.

I tried this for the first time having recently experienced extreme itching and discomfort and nothing else seemed to be helping. I was attracted by the fact it's a naturally based product as I am very sensitive to many products, including emollients for dry skin. Initially I had to use the product liberally to keep the discomfort at bay but now several days later I am using the product more as a preventative as I only get a call amount of itching at night. I also used it for a lubricant for the first time as I find the usual products irritate me. It works really well so I was more relaxed as I wasn't worried about soreness. I shall definitely continue to use it regularly to keep my skin comfortable.

I am using Actigel after intercourse to prevent vaginosis and I think it works to keep the balance 'there'. On top of that I found an additional treatment that keeps vaginosis away and I hope could be effective for other women fighting with this life disturbing illness. Whenever I start feeling that vaginosis is preparing to attack, I use tea tree oil. I use 3 things for this: a mini size tampon, olive oil and tea tree oil. First, I coat the tampon in olive oil and then put few drops of tea three oil on top of that.I insert this and keep it for around 10 minutes. (Olive oil helps to insert the tampon and prevents the tea tree oil from sinking into the tampon) Tea tree oil is an antibacterial/antifungal agent and works perfectly to help with vaginosis treatment/prevention. It is all natural so there are no side effects.

this is amazing for that awful B V! One application is all u need to get rid of the dreaded symptoms! Who knows why bv happens but even if u shower every day like me it still comes back! Maybe it's something to do with ur partner but I won't ask him if he has any symptoms. I even tried femfresh wash to see if after using the gel that would keep it away but no after intercourse it came back while using it so don't waste ur money on that, get the gel!

I brought this product after reading everyone elses reviews. I thought at last something other than over the counter products that do nt work. I ve had thrush on and off most of my adult life and now turning fifty with all the hormonal changes going on I seem to have thrush most times of the month. I used the whole tube in next to no time and the thrush came back the minute I stop using it. Ive read many things on the internet about different ways getting rid of thrush and the one that kept coming up was boric acid, I have been reseaching it for ages then putting off using it because of all its other uses. Anyway, when the biofem failed I bit the bullet and brought boric acid and some capsules. Its been amazing. It worked far better than anything else I ve tried. Money was never an issue but the boric acide worked out far cheaper as well.
