AmazonBasics 4-Port USB Wall Charger (8 Amp), White

In an ever changing landscape of tech where everything now gets charged via a USB cable of some sort adding this plug to an existing gangway extension not only allows you charge upto 4 devices in one socket, but also free's up your gangway for other electrical items!The only downside is the ridiculously bright blue light that emits from it at all times. If this is your bedroom it's a massive distraction when trying to sleep. However nothing a bit of black electrical tape over the top can't solve.

I bought this to use for multi charging of smaller weight items (apple pencil etc). At first it worked fairly well. After a couple of months it has stopped charging completely. The small blue light to show it is plugged in is the only thing working now. The time taken to charge gotvslower and slower - even with only one item plugged in. Changing the ports used to help- but not anymore. It was cheap....but next time I’ll cut my losses and buy a more expensive one.

OK but it has a bright blue LED which means it is useless for charging in the bedroom unless you enjoy a small blue sun as a nightlight.Electronics need to stop having such LEDs.

This plug is well worth the money it is quite a big plug but as you can see it has 4 USB slots and it is incredibly useful you can use all 4 without having to worry about losing power it is well worth it I think the amazon basics range is brilliant and would highly recommend people to use it

The great thing about this is that we don't need to fight about who gets to charge their phone/tablet when there are limited plugs. From being a holiday charger it has claimed a permanent spot on a desk at home so that we can all plug our phones in. The other great thing about it is that all of the four slots work at 2A, so devices can charge at double the normal rate if they support fast charging.

Seems ok and does the job of 4 USB adapters and one plug socket used. Only issue I had is I’m using it in a bedroom and for some reason this has the brightest blue led on light I’ve ever seen.

First impressions I’m very happy with this. I’ve had several in the past and they were rubbish after several charges but I bought this on others recommended on Amazon. I like it that it’s not a very bright light when on!

USB charger needed as more things to charge than plug sockets available. Works well with a high charge rateDown side is the blue light which illuminates the whole bedroom! Bit of tape sorted that right out!!!

In general this is fine, but I do have a few usb things that don't work on it. ie I have a pencil shapner that work on all my other usb wall plugs and charged usb points, but...

Great product - blue LED light is pretty bright so for those who like to sleep in total dark (Like me) you'll need to slap a piece of black tape over it :)

Its amazing for if you use more then 1 usb charger at a time but bot as fast as apple ipad charger

Emits a high pitch sound whenever in use. Incredibly irritating.
