The only Filament I buy!!
I've tried different brands, but Hatchbox has been the only brand that gives me clean prints with my Ender 3. The filament is sturdy and great value. I use my printer mostly for cookie cutters, and it's hard to find a good PLA material. Highly recommend this one . I've purchased 5 different colors from amazon and they have all been great.

Works Great, absolutely happy with it.
I am relatively New to 3D Printing. I ordered White PLA from Hatchbox. (So I had a good base color to paint over)After reading some of the reviews I was a little hesitant. But reviews for other filaments out there are just as bad if not worse, so I decided to give Hatchbox a try anyway and am very Happy I did so.Its been a great filament so far! And I've gone through nearly the whole spool. There's been No breakage. Print quality and adhesion are great. I haven't had any brittle prints as of yet, or Spaghetti mess. The only problems I've had are my own doing (Because I am still learning this awesone hobby.)I was so happy with it that I just recently ordered 3 more Spools in Black, Cool Gray and Light Purple. Hoping I love them just as much. I wanted to post my review here to let others know Not to be Afraid to buy this product just bc it had some negative reviews. Give it a chance, you may be surprised. And I am not being paid or told to post this, it's just my honest opinion.

Not impressed
I have multiple Hatchbox PLA filaments and some ABS that I haven't tried out. I am a fan of their red and their yellow PLA. This stuff just doesn't print as nice. I don't know what the difference is. This stuff actually jammed my extruder as I got towards the end of the roll. I thought maybe it was wound too tight. Hatchbox always has very nice spools when you first open them up. Perfectly spooled. At about 800-850g in, I noticed that it didn't want to feed properly anymore. I think I'm just gonna throw away the rest and hope that the other HB offerings are different. Never had this issue with other brands. I could print the same file in HB red and with this HB white, and it would come out so much better in red. I'll buy HB again, just not the white PLA.

Very reliable
This filament is very reliable. It's not the best and it's not the cheapest, but, it is very reliable and trustworthy. With some other filaments, if you have poor printing quality, you're not sure if it's your printer or your filament, but with this filament, you can be (fairly) sure that it's the printer.

A great option for filament
When I first jumped into this hobby, a friend of mine suggested Hatchbox as a quality filament for both price and material. After hundreds of hours of printing and fine tuning my printer, this filament continues to perform, and is even better as I tune my printer in.The tricky thing with reviewing filament and some of these bad reviews is people are quick to blame the filament, when it could be something wrong with their printer settings. Or if they are normally using one brand and switch to a new brand, you will need to adjust your settings to make sure you are optimizing your printer settings for that specific brand. One brand might perform better at a lower or higher nozzle temp, or a lower/higher bed temp, so if you switch brands but not settings it wont perform as well possibly. If you are changing to Hatchbox I would run some Temperature print tests before diving in to optimize your print.I use a Creality CR-10, and I run Hatchbox PLA at a 205C nozzle, with a 75C bed temp with a g-code to drop to 60C after X amount of layers (depending on the size of the print) for good adhesion to the glass plate. All that to say don't be too quick to trust bad reviews as there are so many factors in this hobby than just the filament that could have caused a bad quality print. For me this filament runs great and is a fair price and will continue to buy it.

Easiest filament I've ever printed.
This filament was well recommended and I can reiterate! It prints smoothly. It was easy to set up. It works wonderfully at a 0.08mm extrusion. I have made some beautiful parts with this. I'm a Hatchbox fan boy now!

Good forgiving PLA
When you are pretty new to a hobby, you need a product that is easy to use, and this doesn’t disappoint. I printed a temperature tower to get my setting right with the product, and there was very little difference throughout the recommended range, so little that I had to double check that I hadn’t printed the whole tower at the same temperature setting. It might not mean much from a professional standpoint, but to an amateur, having a pretty wide range that the product remains stable and useable means that it’s less messing around to get things set up right. Some other brands that I’ve tried have had pretty narrow temperature ranges to get a good result. On top of this, the finish was clean, adhesion was excellent, no shrinkage at the corners that I’ve had with other brands, and no nasty smells while printing.I definitely understand why it’s rated so highly, even if it is a bit higher priced than the competition.Reliable and easy to use, shame it’s now out of stock when I need another roll of black.

What can I say except it's perfect!
I've used filament from Hatchbox before and find them to be one of the only reliable filament companies on Amazon, my only other success has been Prusa filament so far out of trying 5-6 filament companies. This Benchy was printed at a quality of 0.2 with a nozzle temp of 210° and a bed on 60 with no supports and no base...look at how it looks straight off the bed! Not one bit of cleanup needed at all, perfectly excellent for my Creality Ender 3, I previously tried the blue version of this filament too and it was a dream, not a single thing I could complain about in terms of use with Hatchbox PLA filament honestly. The only gripe I really have with this filament is the way it is wound looks messy and as though you may have to babysit it, the benchy boat took 2.5 hours to print and I'm currently 2 hours into a 7.3 hour print and I haven't had any snags or need to help it, I think it just looks chaotic but does the job perfectly :)If you've struggled with PLA filament in the past and I'm looking for a great product that will actually work and won't cause blocks, under/over extrusion, bubbling and failed prints, look no further!

Excellent filament
Hatchbox is now my go to filament. Great opacity, great performance at a good price. This filament measured 1.73 to 1.74mm consistently. I found that it very slightly under-extruded but sorted that with 1.02 flow rate multiplier in Slic3r - maybe something to do with this particular pigment.Prints very well at around 205°C on either heated or non-heated bed, with no odour. Slight gloss finish, good adhesion especially on blue tape.I've tried Rigid.ink PLA and there is very little between the two. If Rigid.ink was a similar price then I'd buy that but it's nearly twice the price on Amazon. The filament comes in a good quality box and is vac-packed with silica gel. The box and reel are colour coded so you can see at a glance what the filament colour is - nice touch.Test photo 20mm cube: 0.4mm layer, 0.5mm nozzle @ 205°C with 3mm retraction on 3+ year old RepRapPro Ormerod.

Just good filament that prints very well , currently my favourites.
Purchased this a while ago. Came well packaged, vacuum and desiccant. After a year still good. Prints well at 210C, 50C bed. Adhesion is excellent. Nice glossy black. The filament looks glossy as filament so guess less wear. Used it for G scale trains for coal load. Looks great. No clogging, not brittle, no dust. Prints with no issues. This is currently my favourite, shame it is now £5 more expensive that a year ago.

If it seems too good to be true.......
Having 3x3D printers I am a fairly heavy user of filament and tried many including XYZ, Wanhao, Rigid.ink, Flashforge etc. This Hatchbox filament seemed too good to be true at the price so was expecting mediocre results. It's not often something that seems too good to be true is true. This filament is absolutely superb. It produces the cleanest, least stringey prints of any of the filaments I have used whilst resisting warping and also providing the glossiest finish. I have yet to have a single jam orr issue and in testing the dimensional accuracy seems spot on. Well done Hatchbox, I absolutely love your filament and to cap it off the price is quite amazing
