Makes amazing waffles
Great product. Heats quickly and makes crispy fluffy waffles in a matter of a few minutes. Doesn't take much batter either. The plates aren't removable which makes cleaning a pain, but I think most models are the same. Because it's non stick it can just get a quick once over with a damp cloth while still warm.

Great machine, easy to use, bit of a pain to clean
Excellent waffle iron, works spot on and is great for batch cooking as you can make 4 at a time. Loses slightly on cleaning, you can’t remove the waffle plates so if it leaks batter it’s a pain to clean. Still gets 5 stars though.

ridiculously easy to use, waffles in 5-8 minutes
Good machine, easy to use, will take some experimenting to get perfect waffles.Tested using:Pinch of Nom, Slimming World friendly baked oat waffle ‘batter’ (per person: 40g porridge oats, 2 eggs, 1 Muller light yogurt).Andhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/Luxury-Belgian-Style-Waffle-Mix/dp/B00ALT1IBK“Luxury Belgian Style Waffle Mix - 1kg Bag - Waffle Mixture for Belgian Waffles” purchased at the same time.Features:Non latching top plate (despite what the included usage instructions say)1100w power consumption with UK power plug.Temperature selection dial (light to dark = cooler to hotter)Plates are not removable, but have been easy to clean so far (consider spraying/brushing oil on before pouring your batter in).Like all waffle iron/machines, this will require fine tuning to your recipe. So be prepared to allow for experimentation. Such fun!First few attempts have convinced me that when using this waffle machine, one should slightly over fill the base plate to enable the batter good contact with & heat transfer from the top plate. Failure to do so yields less than optimal waffle cooking, and slightly thinner, non symmetrical (horizontally) waffles. So far, I’ve been very impressed, it’s quick to reach temperature & we’ve had waffles in 5-8 minutes compared to 30minutes when baking them. It’s ridiculously easy to use. It is lacking some of the features I wanted when choosing initially, but for £28 its a bargain while also saving us money on heating up the entire oven for 3x the amount of time. The included instructions are unsurprisingly very light, but i’m enjoying the experimentation! Not deep fill, non rotating iron, so unlikely to yield fluffy centred waffles.

Perfect waffles!
I think this might just be my favourite kitchen appliance purchase ever. My daughter had bought a waffle maker some time back and loved it so I decided to get myself one. Firstly, it's made my partner the happiest person ever as he's getting spoilt with waffles for weekend brunch plus I've also found some other uses for it too, including hash browns, it cooks them beautifully. I've also discovered that I can make those healthy egg and banana pancakes in it. It's a runny batter so you only add a fraction of what you would if you were making regular pancakes but it works. Very happy with my waffle maker!

Very sharp protrusion on bottom of unit!?
Is it supposed to be like this?

The worst waffles in the world.
Absolutely dreadful, do not waste your money. I'm baffled as to how this has so many good reviews (although a lot of the pictures are of a different looking waffle maker). The 'ready' light doesn't work as described. It is supposed to come on when the plates have reached sufficient heat, instead my light came on as soon as the machine was plugged in then after a few minutes went off? I had to guess when it was ready. It gives no indication of how full you should fill it with batter, again, I guessed, but didn't overfill. When I shut the lid the batter gushed out of the front and into all the indents around the lights and temperature control. Yuck. The heat distribution on the plates is extremely uneven. The instructions say cook for 'around 5 minutes'. I cooked mine for nearly 15 and they were still half raw. They came out thin and chewy. The thick, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside waffles I'd been dreaming of were like a pair of old worn slippers. If you like half raw, thin, chewy waffles with the consistency of an old plimsoll, buy this machine. If not, leave well alone.
