Eveready 10 Pack 40W Candle Bulbs Cap Base Bayonet Fitting, B22, 40 W, Clear White

These bulbs are clearly marked not suitable for room illumination and I suspect potentially could be a fire risk they may be cheap but they are not designed for household use. I thought I was buying Eveready a known brand however the bulbs that arrived were a completely different one "Status" with the warning on them. I suppose the price was too good to be true and these bulbs are appearing in a number of outlets with the warning on the small print.I wonder what a light bulb should do if it is not for illumination-please enlighten me if you know

Goods Wholesale stated Eveready don't make these any more and sent Status instead (with offer to take back and refund fully if I didn't want them). I accepted them, pointed out they were actually cheaper than Eveready and Goods Wholesale gave a generous rebate.The bulbs themselves are OK but not great - but they are cheap so !!!!Goods Wholesale were 10 out of 10 in their handing of the order and rebate.

The seller advertises these as EVER READY but when they arrived, that wasn't the brand so not a very good start. Having said that, it's a light bulb and it does what a light bulb should do.

Great value product you simply would not pay the same in the high street.I would like to add two bulbs out of ten arrived broken (I would not say this was how it was packed as this seemed to be packed well) It might have before they were packed or been in transport.Despite this still good value for eight bulbs.I would still buy this product again like this.

Be warned! I even took the trouble to measure the base of the out-going bulb, since there were various different designations on Amazon. According to the dimensions given in the product description, this ought to have been a standard sized bayonet cap. It isn't; it's too small to fit my sockets. Given that little problem, I obviously cannot comment on the quality of light or the longevity of the bulb...

We had these bulbs before and they were fine. So we ordered same again but when they arrived four of them were broken. We could hear the broken glass rattling in the boxes so after checking each box to make sure had to dispose of the broken bulbs.

I bought a pack of these thinking Eveready was a trusted brand. However these are not safe as every one I used exploded after a period of time showering the room with shards of glass and blowing the circuit. In future I'll check the reviews carefully before buying bulbs.

Please don’t waste your money on these bulbs. Of the ten I purchased, three were broken, and the seller wants blood, sweat and tears before they will do anything about it. How long the other seven will last is anyone’s guess.
