Good as always

The microbiome (natural bacterial diversity) on everyone's skin is different, hence we'll all have different experiences with the same deodorant. For me, this product is excellent. It keeps me pong-free for around 24 hours. I also love the smell, it's fresh and floral, we're all different when it comes to smell preferences so it's hard to down-grade a deodorant on that point. As a roll-on, it's bound to be a tad wet on application but the solution, obviously, is wait a few seconds for it to dry before dressing. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I haven't double checked the safety of all its ingredient, so it may well contain nasties I don't like. I bought it because it's aluminium free but really should do my research on the other ingredients. Many deodorants give my husband itchy armpits but this one doesn't. At less than £2 a bottle, it's fantastic value - assuming it doesn't contain toxic chemicals.

I have used this for years. No aluminium which is very important for what you put on your skin. Nice smell and it works fine. Recommended

The Bionsen Roll On Deodorant is a product I thought I'd try as it was a lot more affordable than the other deodorants I'd been buying. I always look for aluminium free deodorants as they are better for you and prevent my t-shirts from having deodorant marks on them so I was pleased to find Bionsen. Unfortunately if you read the ingredients it doesn't seem the deodorant is as natural as the packaging may make it seem as whilst it doesn't have aluminium in it it has a lot of other questionable ingredients including endocrine disrupters which puts me off buying the brand again. At 50ml it is a good size and lasts a while. I'm not sure that this is a good thing though as I'm not a fan of the product so it leaves more to get through! The deodorant rolls on with ease and doesn't take too long to dry. The scent on first application is quite a nice fresh smell, I can't work out what it smells like but it's not bad. Unfortunately, after a few hours I'd changed my mind about this thought as it seems like the scent never goes away and I was tired of smelling it by then. The deodorant does an ok job at preventing the smell of sweat but I'm not sure how much of this is masked by the strong scent of the deodorant. After trying Bionsen I am not a fan of this product at all. Maybe it'll work better for you than me but with the strong smell and the ingredients I think I'll look for another product more suited to me in the future.

The most important thing for me was that I didn't have an allergic reaction, tried a small amount first etc. but all good and I am using it normally now. I'd had a sudden reaction to a spray months ago and found, even when skin seemed to have calmed down, any area of skin that had been affected would flare up with other products too, shower gel and natural deodorants (non spray), so pleased to find this. The smell to me is like a cross between a nice soap and clean washing, so very happy with that, smells fresh. It's a ball roll on, with liquid, which isn't too sticky or runny, I do allow to dry a little before finishing getting dressed. I hope it works for you.

I love the scent and the texture. It does not cause irritation. It does not cause allergies. However, the deodorant stick comes away from its holder when there is about 2-3 centimeters remaining. So it becomes unusable. I bought 2 so have started the second. I hope the problem doesn't arise again. Otherwise I recommend the quality, scent and non-irritant aspects of the product but the dispenser needs more thought.
