Hauntingly Fun Cooperative Mystery!
Mysterium is a standout cooperative game for 2-7 players! One player as the ghost uses gorgeous, surreal vision cards to guide the "psychic investigators" in solving a mansion murder: suspect, location, weapon. Hilarious misreads, tense reveals, and immersive atmosphere keep everyone hooked. Quick to learn, endlessly replayable. Ideal for families or game nights—pure magic! We had an absolute blast this Christmas!

Confusing but brilliant once you've cracked it!
Our family feedback: Indulging, immersive mystery game with artistic cards and atmospheric gameplay. When you get hard cards its actually cool, because it makes you work harder and more imaginatively to communicate the clues. I love it (10yr old). Satifying to play. When you crack the case at the end there is a huge sense of achievement. Betting element is also great. (10yr old) Its a game that as a big family of 7 we keep coming back to. (43yr old Dad) Competetive games usually end in tears in this house, but this co-op game is great for our family (12yr old) Being the ghost is super stressful and so i totally avoid that role, which is fine because the boys love being ghost. Its quite long....which is again a little taxing for my short attention span. But ultimately it is a game that plays to each person's unique strengths without penalising younger players or giving advantages to the 'brainy' members of the family, or the most vocal, etc,,,, so a real levellel. (42yr old Mama) If you are umming or erring over whether to buy it....do it! we play it alot and believe me we are super picky and critical gamers.

Great varied team gameplay
Really high-quality game, with fun team gameplay! We've played it a few times, and it's totally different every time. The board game has enough pieces to make it fun and special, and all of high quality (my biggest gripe about modern games is that they often seem so cheaply-made). The artwork on the 'Vision Cards' is beautiful, as is the design on the rest of the board. Gameplay is different for 2-3 players and 4-7, and can also be adjusted for how difficult you want the game to be: it does take some time to sit down and read and understand the rules, but a slow game with the rules open and it won't take you long to pick it up. Suitable for teenagers and up. Gameplay has a set end-point, so it's not totally open-ended like Monopoly. The background to the game is very atmospheric and you can amp up these aspects during gameplay if you have a good storyteller among you! BEST THING - all players are working towards the SAME goal, and everyone has to help each other out. Either everyone succeeds or everyone loses, making for a more enjoyable game. Absolutely recommend buying this board game: I bought it for my sister and then one for myself too!

Great Dixit and cluedo mix
Personally I'm not a fan of cluedo... it's a game of rolling a dice waiting for everyone else to do the same... then maybe you get to a room and ask a question.... but then you have to roll again and wait for your turn...... On the surface this seems simular. Your trying to find a person object and place that a person was murdered. What makes this so good is that one player plays the victim and communicates through visions... which in this case is a load of random cards that whilst are beautifully drawn look like the artist has been on some intoxicants. The ghost will try and match the card they give you with the person weapon or place they want you to guess. They will then give one to your friends who are also trying to guess... a completely different card. This is all done at the same time, even better, your on the same team so your team mates can help you. The main reason this game is so good is that the ghost can't speak at all.... the frustration of watching someone pick the right card only for a friend to say "are you sure its not this one?" And then they pick something completely different is hilarious. Basically this is a fix for cluedo and as far as I'm concerned everyone should get it. It's a great family game and because it can accommodate up to 7 players it's pretty good for groups too.

Super fun board game with 4+ people
I would recommend that you play this with 4 or more people but it is incredibly fun once you do. The board game comes with a lot of stuff as well. Great bang for your buck.

To me, a little dose of healthy competition among friends or relatives is what makes board games engaging. You banter and laugh in the harmless setting of the game. All of this is impossible with this particular "cooperative" game, where all the stress is on the one playing as the spirit, who has to come up with a good set of matching cards while the others wait trying to fill the dead time. It is frankly upsetting for all involved and, at the end, you are just too tired of the experience that it doesn't matter if you finish the task. Beautiful illustrations though.

Probably the most fun game I’ve ever played. Super high quality pieces and the game design allows for many permutations so no game is the same. This is a must have game for anyone who enjoys tabletop rpgs. 10/10

This game is so wonderful! It is very easy to learn and with the different difficulty levels once you get the hang of it it’s fun to challenge yourselves! This game has very high replay-ability due to the randomness of the cards and the ability to “match” things The cards are AMAZING, the artwork it so wonderful we all get excited when we flip new cards! You learn a lot about the people you play with and how their brain works with grouping things, it’s super interesting and an added challenge when different people play the ghost who think differently than you The expansion packs are wonderful for this game as well! Depending on how good your psychic link with the ghost is (aka guessing) this game can be played quite fast. It usually takes us between 30-60 minutes for one round. We have lost just as many times as we have won, My family LOVES this game, we play it all the time!
