nice smell, not long lasting though

Blind ordered as purchased as a Christmas present. It arrived today & my curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to carefully open the bottom of the cellophane & spray a little on my wrist.Now I know aftershave has a different smell on every individual, so this will undoubtedly smell different on my husband.I love it though & for the fragrance, size & price it's well worth it.Sprayed on myself I can smell citrus (maybe orange)a wiff of almond, a bit peppery but it does smell very clean & crisp. I also like the fact that it doesn't smell like many of the popular "celebrity" fragrances that seem to be pushed upon us all.I imagine that it can be used day or night & should be a very likeable fragrance that could result in many asking "what are you wearing"Highly recommended to all who fancy a change

The scent doesn't last long but it is pleasant while it can be detected, not over powering like some eau de toilettes and colognes.Not sure about it being spicy or woody, or even smelling of marzipan but I could detect lavender and bitter orange.It does smell subtly, clean and fresh, a good everyday fragrance that I would probably purchase again.

For the money it is good value smells nice amd lasts a while

Nice scent, not as heavy as the original. Only reason for 3 stars is due to the scent not lasting that long, but for the price it's not bad.

*Sniff* Mmmmm! *Sniff*... Mmmm!Starts off smelling nice but slightly edgy, soon settles and warms into a much fuller, deeper, less pungent odour. I like it. It smells fairly sophisticated and clean, without being too 'childish', too 'old man' or too boring or MOR. It smells quite different, in the nicest poss way. Enchanting, even. (I now see why the manufacturers' descriptions of their fragrances seem so clichéd and ridiculous. It's hard to describe a smell.)As the saying goes, "If you can't beat them, join them..."So...Cerruti smells sweet, warm, light and clean. Seductive, yet dangerous.Desired by all yet unobtainable to all but a few; Cerruti is the fragrance equivalent of a prom Queen in a boys' changing room. Comfortably reassuring, like a father's shoulder to his sleepy child, yet as daring, bold and edgy as the creases in Evel Knievel's flares...I won't give up the day job.

Excellent aftershave for an excellent price. I use this a lot around work and college as I am a man who sweats a tad too much, and no one can fault it. Smiles fantastic, and can also be used as a good fragrance for rooms. Not got much lasting power, but this may be due to the nose becoming acustom to the fragrance.It's a subtle fragrance that isn't too much in your face, nice floral notes, and hits the nose well with a calm scent.Would recommend for a date or dinner.

Bought this aftershave on a blind buy I was swayed by the price was £49 reduced to£13 so took a chance and boy what a bargain it has to be the best aftershave I have ever bought it smells gorgeous with hints of marzipan and orange very manly smelling and last for hours .I wouldnt dream of buying a after shave an such a price of £49 if you ever see this on offer I would highly reccomend you grab this as you won't be dissapointed.

Well, Cerruti is a very underrated house re perfumes. 1881 Original is a masterpiece, and this take, although different, still a great scent. Got it for $28 so great stuff.
