Awesome book where you get all the mini comics that were available with the action figures from the 80s. I sadly don't have any of the comics anymore so was so happy to get this, the pictures bring back happy childhood memories, also had some comics that I never owned, plus there's all the She Ra comics too. A must have for all fans of the 80s toyline.

A nicely presented omnibus with every minicomic reproduced up to the 200x series also those that were packaged with Point Dread back in the 80's. Contains writers thoughts on the backstory of the minicomics which can be fascinating plus the She-Ra minicomics. It is worth picking up.

I don't profess to be an expert in the history of the MOTU Mini Comics and therefor can't comment on how extensive this collection is. I have seen some reviews saying that is missing this or that rare piece of mini comic history.What I can say is that I bought it for a nostalgia kick. I loved MOTU when I was a kid and it just caught my eye when browsing.The book is fantastic in my opinion, bringing back fond childhood memories of the most powerful man in the universe. It is much more impressive in the flesh than in the pictures - it is so thick and weighty.The only slight improvement that I would like to see would be to tell the reader which mini-comic came with which MOTU figure when it was released.Overall a great buy. The artwork is fantastic.

A great book which brings back many a happy memory from childhood. It's interesting to see how the background story of He-Man developed from the early days of being depicted as a simple barbarian warrior up to the alter ego of Prince Adam. Highly recommended.

I've been picking up the original mini comics since the 80s toy line. Down the years I've searched for each story I'd either lost or missed & with this complete collection my searching is finally over !From the rare 1st issue titled 'He-Man & the Power Sword' to the frankly dreadful futuristic reinvention & the better early noughties remake, every mini-comic is found here. You even get the bonus of sister She-Ra's tales originally included with that spin-off toy range.We are treated to notes of insight explaining how characters & plots developed or changed, writer & artist interviews, as well as comparisons to the Filmation series & how one medium influenced the other. You'll be positively blown away with the value for money - I still can't believe the £15 price point !BUY IT NOW !

Great Omnibus collecting all the original comics that were given away free with the toys.

Terrific item - took me right back to my 'play days'. Wonderful nostalgia. Also, the book contains little extra comments related to the look, characters or general detail of Masters; these insights were very interesting. Although not 100% clear from the cover, the book also covers the range of She-ra mini-comics too. Its been created with care and thought.NOTE: the book is hardback, thick and very heavy. It is not a book for flipping through on the way to work. Its definitely one for a quiet night on the sofa, with the book propped on a cushion!
