Joint Aid for Dogs Liquid Hip and Joint Support (Extra Strength), 16 fl oz

My 3 pound Chihuahua was having joint issues. I saw substantial improvement in his gait and activity level after only a couple of weeks. It is so easy to use-no refrigeration needed and just squirt it on the food. I also like that my cat can take the same product.

I used Cosequin for years but switched to this liquid for all my rescue cats about 8 years ago. I believe it is more bio available than the powder, plus it has MSM, hyaluronic acid and krill oil which all work together to reduce inflammation and support cartilage and joint fluids.9 out of 10 cats over 12 years old have some form of arthritis so I start the young ones on it to maintain joint health. There's also limited research that glucosamine can help replenish the bladder lining in cats prone to urinary tract disease. So I also use it to maintain bladder health in all my cats starting when they're young.It's quicker & easier to use than opening and sprinkling capsules - just a couple pumps of liquid when I mix up their canned food in the yogurt tub. They all like the taste - does *not* have a strong fish odor.Great product and good value for the price.

We have two wonderful dogs that are treated and cared for like family. We are an active family, and the dogs are included in most everything we do. Although they are both young and in good health I fully believe an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so I have had them both on joint supplements since they were young pups. Our vet particularly stressed the importance of this for our husky/GSD pup since hip and joint issues are common in both breeds, and we don't know the history of his parents. For joint health I have mostly used Kirkland's Glucosamine and MSM tablets, and although very economical my dogs will only eat them crushed up, and more recently one has been fussy about eating it at all.While looking for a new affordable joint supplement, I stumbled upon this product. Since my dogs are young and I am using this as prevention I can't claim it has been a miracle for them. However, they love the taste, and I like that they are getting a couple extra joint health items that they didn't previously receive. They are as playful and active as always, and their coats look great as well!Since Amazon doesn't currently show the ingredients or dosage I've included the product label. One pump contains:Glucosamine: 180 mgChondroitin: 150 mgMSM: 150 mgKrill oil: 67.2 mgHyalauronic acid: 1.2 mgUnless you think your dog would dislike eating the oil (mine go nuts over it) I would recommend the liquid form over the pellet. They cost about the same per dose, but liquid glucosamine is more readily absorbed and it contains far more krill oil. With my two dogs (55 lbs, and 75 lbs and growing) one bottle lasts just shy of a month. Highly recommend, I can't see myself ever switching to something else!

I think the product works for my dogs but it takes too long for the seller to ship it. What’s the hold up?

I swear that my dog is livelier and seems more enthusiastic and playful. He can not tell of course, but he just seems rejuvenated. More willing to move around and playful. He is an eleven year golden retriever and it's seems to be h÷lying him to be more active. I squirter it on his food and he doesn't refuse it so he must like it. Thank you. Somehow he has a new lease on life. I've been using this for a few weeks and after about a week I saw change in his activity level.I would try this product if I had an older dog in need of a boost in health. It certainly seems to help my dog.

This is a great product an our dog loves it.

this product has been so amazing for my almost 15 year old Mini Aussie. He has been suffering with arthritis for a couple of years now. We have tried other supplements in the past... the chewable kind with the "beef flavor that dogs just love!" and he figures out it is a kind of medicine in the first sniff and won't touch it. When I put this on his food for the first time he sniffed, the licked it a bit... and walked away. I was heartbroken. But I left it down. When I went to check on it an hour later his food dish was empty! So on top of the other benefits of this supplement, my elder dog is now eating more and regaining some weight.The best part is seeing him walking and prancing around again without limping. He is still not quite able to jump up on the couch by himself yet (we have only been using this for a about 3 weeks at this point) but he can jump down without assistance and without his legs buckling under him. This product has been so very good for him and I will keep buying it.A helpful hint about the pump spout. Yes it will get clogged and not spray straight. I have circumvented this by scooping the dog food with a large plastic cup to a premeasured amount. then I can hold the cup up around the spout and pump. Give the cup a few shakes to distribute the oil and pour it all into his food dish. Works likes a charm.

Have not used it long enough to know if this is benefiting my 7 year dog. However, the PUMP is a mess.. it splashes everywhere instead of just the bowl
