OGX Hydrate + Defrizz Kukui Oil Frizz Defying Curl Cream, 6 Ounce

I searched for something like this for years! I have been very happy with how this product tames frizz. Other products seem to work for a little while but wear off by the end of the day. This seems to last for several hours. Also, with continued use, it seems to have made my hair less frizzy in general. This has helped enhance my curls and bring them out. My hair used to look just wavy. With this product, the curls really come out. I was happy to find it on Amazon as it was hard to find in stores. I'm upset that they no longer seem to be making it. I've had to resort to trying out the moroccan curling perfection defining cream that is made by the same company. I can't say I care for it much. I have to use a lot more of the cream (i used up 2/3 of the bottle in a few days!) and the results are not as good. I think that may be why they are discontinuing the Kukui Curl Cream. It's too good and they can't make as much $ as they might on a product that you have to buy a bottle a week! ... If you find the Kukui Curl Cream at a reasonable price, it's the one to get!

It does what is says it's going to do...hydrate and define a curl. This oil is great on dry or wet hair, although I like it better on wet hair. It is not too oily or creamy. I creates a defined curly, but not hard or heavy. Only a small amount is needed. It also smells good.

I have naturally curly 2C/3A hi-lited thin, fine hair that is a little longer than chin length. I live in a very humid/high dewpoint weather. I have been pleasantly pleased and surprised with this product. It plays well with other products in my hair (i.e. gel). I have been using small dime-size amounts and my hair has felt so soft and "fluffy" without being frizzy. I don't mind crunchiness in curls as I just scrunch out the crunch but there is no crunchiness with this product. It has given me beautiful ringlet type curls and no frizz on top. It does have some sort of tropical scent but it is light and not overwhelming and in my opinion, it does smell nice, not like a cheap suntan tropical scent. It does have glycerin and silicones in it but when my weather is super humid in the summer, I really need the frizz control that silicones provide. I have not had a problem with buildup or limp hair using this product. I am really pleased with this, I love how soft it makes my hair feel and I am very happy with the curl formation I am getting and I also get good "second day" hair using this product. I would recommend trying this as I am very pleased with it!

This stuff is awful. It's very sticky, I don't like the smell and it left my hair frizzy when it dried. I've had thick, fine textured long hair most of my life. I bought this because I like a line of products by L' anza long hair care which uses Kukui nut and I wondered if this might be a less expensive alternative. IT'S NOT. You get what you pay for people.Do yourself a favor: Get some L'anza products instead. Especially their Trauma Treatment which just shames this product. They smell great and work even better.

This product is consistently sold out at drugstores and grocery super stores in my area. I have short, thin, medium curly hair (3C) and this is the best product I have found. I first apply light argan oil (same brand) and then follow with a little bit of this Kukui Cream and my hair responds positively. I think most curly haired folks are on a constant search for the best product for their hair and for me this is working very well. It's more expensive here (almost $2 more per bottle) than at my local CVS, Walgreens, Target, or Wal-Mart, but as I said it's always sold out locally.I would highly recommend this product.

I have straight hair so I got this for frizz control - It works very well - leaves my hair soft and easy to manage with out being weighted down - big fan of Kukui Nut Oil so I had to try this - Glad I did- Shampoo and conditioner on the way hopefully they work as well - can't wait to find out

I was surprised how well this worked. My hair is a combination of 3B and 3C. It smells heavenly (like pineapples) and it really holds my curls beautifully. So many people have complimented me on how nice my hair smells too. It has almost no slip so make sure your hair is already detangled before you apply it. It also mixes very well with the Eco Styler Gel (clear) with no flaking. A little goes a long way as well and less is definitely more.

I've been buying this product since it came out. I could not find it in stores anymore. I ordered from another seller on amazon and it was the same product I usually buy. After reviewing this product from this seller I believe that the formula has changed. The scent is now completely different. Really fruity smelling. The original smelled pleasantly of kukui nut oil. The scent of this is overpowering, and the formula doesn't keep the frizz down as well. Not sure what happened but now I need to find a new product that doesn't smell like a Jr high school girl. Bleh.

Habe sehr lange nach diesen Produkt gesucht und war so froh es endlich gefunden zu haben. Bin super zufrieden. Es beschwert die Haare nicht unnötig, kein verkleben und hat einen sehr angenehmen Duft.

I have stuck to the Moroccan Argan Curl Perfector Cream by OGX until now. But I find that this Kukui Curl Cream suits my hair better. I have only wavy hair and not curly hair. But my hair is very frizzy. And this product just helps control the frizz and does not define my waves which is what I really need. This is a great frizz defying cream but I doubt if it will hold your curls as good as the Argan Curl Cream. And also, it smells a lot different. It smells very coconutty.. almost like a coconut cream candy which personally I love a lot. So for those who do not like coconut, stay away from this product. All in all, a really good frizz defying cream.

Product itself is good but it took a long time to arrive and the pump action doesn't work. I can use the product by unscrewing the top, which is messy.

Really helps keep my curls.....unfortuneately only for a day.....very good quality product !

This is one of the best products from ogx. If application of the product is perfect then results are best. I loved this cream. This really keeps ur curls hydrated, soft and holds it for quite a while. If you try to make ur straight or wavy hair curly then this may not be the best but if you originally have curly hair then go for it.
