It doesn't disappoint. It's AWESOME!!

Every Christmas, during the 1950s and 60s, my brothers and I were happy to visit Aunt Annie, our great-aunt who gave each of us (yea!! no having to share!) a small box of handmade goodies. She couldn't afford much, so she made these from carefully collected pecans from my grandfather's small grove and sugar, corn syrup, and other ingredients she saved up to purchase for her Christmas baking. These included Christmas rock cookies full of nuts and preserved fruit, pecan pralines, and divinity candy, the real kind that had to be made on a cool, low humidity day, because its melt-in-your-mouth texture would not set up if made on a humid day. Finding that kind of real divinity has become harder and harder, so I have to look online and the cost is pretty high.I decided to try Jackie's divinity and what a mistake that was!! This tastes nothing like real divinity and I couldn't eat more than a small amount before throwing it into the garbage. Please don't judge real divinity by this, because it is just so, so wrong. The texture is gummy, the nuts were not roasted before adding, and that taste I cannot describe except to say it's not even close and I am still trying to wipe it out of my mind.

This product is not home made divinity. I got a full refund and threw it away. The nuts were rancid. The other sugar part was not at all correct. Seriously sad product.
