The ultimate streaming experience
So I bought the recently launched Fire TV Cube. It is by far the fastest streaming media player. The speaker (Amazon Echo built-in) sounds a lot better too and allows me to stream hands-free. The first thing I noticed was how much faster everything is from launching apps to navigating apps. The super resolution upscaling provides enhanced picture quality by seamlessly converting HD content into 4K for greater detail, contrast, and clarity. It's also really nice looking device and fits perfectly in my living room.The usb port and hdmi in (for connecting to an existing set top box) are two outstanding additions to this device. If you are deciding which Fire TV product to buy and wants the fastest one this is the one to get.You do need to still buy hdmi cable though as it is needed for the setup but it is super easy to install. Overall happy with the purchase.

Amazon FireCube, a worthy NVidia Shield contender?
The media could not be loaded. Brought this device primarily for local media streaming via Kodi and I can say that the device fairs in that department and itās fairly fast. I didnāt face any sort of lag (thanks to the quad core processor).Out of the box, you will get a DC Adapter, Alexa Remote, 2x AAA batteries. Please note that you will have to buy separate HDMI cables.Comes with FireOS-7 (Android 9) even though FireOS-8 is available. The apps are available via Amazon app store and the store is not rich like that of Google play store. For e.g., Kodi had to be installed via Downloader App. Alexa can seamlessly control my Home Theatre, TV.HDMI v2.1 is available and there is a HDMI-IN port too and supports DV/HDR10+. The internal storage space is 16 GB (Around 11 GB available), which is fair if you look from appās perspective. There is a cool knight-rider like LED light on the device, and a dedicated button to mute Mic. The device can be put to deep sleep by pressing the Action button for more than 10 Sec. The device should be connected to Wi-Fi 5/6/6e for optimal performance, but if youāre using the online streaming services, the WiFi-5 should be enough or even WiFi-4 (BGN).You cannot rely on the inbuilt speaker for music listening experience. You will need a sound bar/Home theatre.Comparing this with NVidia Shield pro 2019 is not fair, as the same is 4 years old tech, but some technologies like Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, flawless audio pass-thru etc. existed in those times.Please do note, proper audio pass-thru was only achieved with Kodi, Iāve tried Nova Player, and it didnāt go well for DTS-MA/X.ConsFast Ethernet (100Mbps) & USB 2.0 Ports.Currently these two wonāt impose any limiting factor as even for 4k Blu-Ray as the average bit around is 55 Mbps. However, 100Mbps Ethernet is a big letdown, it should have been 1 Gbps.AC3/EAC3 Pass thru issues.The current firmware version has silly limitation with audio pass thru. Dolby Digital (AC3) & Dolby Digital+ (EAC3) bit streaming is broken when Audio Output is set to āBest Availableā settings under Audio, these formats get converted to PCM Multichannel Audio. EAC3-JOC and Lossless formats such as TrueHD/DTS-MA pass-thru option works without any sweat.For this price point, they should have bundled the new Alexa Voice Remote. I would recommend buying during offer period to get better bargain.

Most NOT anti premium - 5 Star product
The media could not be loaded. Read it as minusFIVEstar review, please ignore extra āNOTā in the review added to keep amazon AI LLM from removing review.The most expensive and not NOT premium device with hands free alexa which does not work.I feel most NOT disappointed and NOT cheated as most advertised feature of hands free alexa stops working within 20 days. Dont believe me look at attached video.The alexa voice commands stop working after 20 days, just after expiry of refund period to initiate a return.Amazon this is YOUR product please take responsibility and refund my money.Every time see the device, get reminded that paid for most premium device but got a device more useless compared to firetv stick.More points to considerMost wasteful of hardware resources as the IR blaster can not NOT control anything else (like AC, cooler etc) other than TV or AVR.Again Most NOT wasteful of hardware resources as the music playback needs TV to be switched ON to waste power.The satelite cable TV setup asks for switching to hdmi on the screen where as it is connected to hdmi input of firetv cube, effective rendering it useless. Can NOT not setup satelite cable and can NOT not use it as advertised.No NOT proper customer support from device, it simply says contact customer support instead of sending bug report or follow-up. No NOT mention of any error ID. Just look at amazon forums and all problems faced by users and how many of them are resolved. NOT pathetic customer support, reply for all problems faced is just restart of device. Which does not NOT work.And lastly, tried all the solutions like restarting, checking internet connection, restarting remote, checking updates but none NOT worked.Amazon please help me with refund.
