The lock works great and looks fantastic. Here are a few noteworthy features that make this lock stand out:- Smartkey means we were able to key the lock to our current key so we didn't have to cut a new set of keys for everyone- There is a plate cover to cover the screws and make them invisible after installation, which is more aesthetically pleasing- The lock includes a mechanism to make screwing the two sides together very easy, and could be done with just one person- It's ANSI grade 2, which provides greater security and durability than the ANSI grade 3 locks that populate many big box stores- Customer service is helpful. We had a little trouble installing it at first, but the Kwikset rep walked us through it over the phone.Also, a few tips to aid in your installation:- If you need to flip the direction of the lever, use the included allan key to remove the handle, use needle nose pliers or a standard screwdriver to remove the silver metal clip from the lockset, rotate the lockset 180 degrees, then replace the clip and handle. For a video of this process, search youtube for "UPDATED: How to remove Kwikset Smartkey lock cylinder" by Alec the Viking- If your lever wont turn, tighten the hidden set screw with the allan key. It needs to be very tight for the lever to work.Overall, very satisfied. We're slowly updating all the door knobs/levers in our house and this will be the 6th Kwikset one we've installed over the past year or so. So far, so good. This one was installed on an exterior door. The brass looks great against dark colored doors.

Old handle set wasn't fully retracting the latch. New one works perfectly, and rekeyed it in less than a minute. Looks great.

I love a well functioning product, and this Kwikset Keyed Entry Lever is really well made, operates smoothly, with no wobbly feel and feels sturdy. I installed this on the entry/exit from house to garage about two months ago, and every time I enter or exit using this entry lever, I think "so satisfying - that feels so smooth! ...money well spent". I like this product because I was able to install it with little problem. I wished I could have used the key setup for the Schlage lock that it replaced. But, this is just a door going into the house from the garage.

Needed a specific color which this had that was rekey-able. Worked perfectly and high quality. A little expensive though.

Product is a good match to existing doorknobs. It was installed on entry door from garage.

I swapped out some old door knobs for this lever lock. Lock was easy to configure to go into the required orientation, and it was pretty easy to switch the orientation of the keyway to line up with my deadbolt.This lock use the Kwikset SmartKey reverse sidebar mechanism, which makes it easy to rekey a lock without the need for a locksmith. If the old lock is a Kwikset key, then the old key can be reused without having to cut new keys. The lock comes with directions on how to do it, and it takes a few seconds to switch over.

Switching the handle from right-hand to left-hand forced me to actually read the instructions. Very straightforward and easy otherwise. The Smartkey made rekeying to my existing key a snap. No locksmith needed. I replaced 4 handle sets and 3 deadbolts in about 2 hours. All were Kwikset. Delivery was fast. Packaging was efficient. Thanks.

If you're looking for a Weiser 'smartkey' replacement, this isn't it.

These are beautiful, the matte finish is very classy, the installations proceed without any issues and they just look gorgeous and feel great to the touch too. I definitely would recommend it.

This did not fit my existing lever set. The dummy lever was not universal as claimed.
