An adorably cute, fun and delicious Young adult romance.
This story revolves around high schoolers Pepper Evans and Jack Campbell. As the title suggests, it all starts with a twitter spat between Big League Burger and Girl Cheesing when Big League Burger copies Girl Cheesing’s iconic Grilled Cheese recipe.Big League burger is owned by Pepper’s parents whose twitter account is handled by Pepper, and Girl Cheesing is owned by Jack’s parents.Jack has a twin brother Ethan whose popular and charming. This twitter spat gets ugly and both do all it takes to take the other down.Meanwhile, amidst their twitter war, Jack and Pepper have been secretly chatting with each other with hidden identities on an app created by Jack. This story is a modern Hate turned Love story. It is a cute, hilarious and fun rom- com.The characters in the story are so relatable. I love how Pepper is so hardworking and gives her best in everything she does I also like how Jack like any other sibling feels parental favouritism towards Ethan. I also love how Jack and Pepper are so responsible towards their family duties. This story takes me back to my college, when I met my partner through a social media spat. It refreshes my memories, making it a very special read for me.I would suggest “Tweet Cute” if you love contemporary Young adult Novels.Definitely read this one !PS: I almost forgot to mention how hungry I got while reading this book. There’s tons of cake and grilled cheese, getting my mouth all watery and deliciously happy!I rate it: 4/5

Too cuteeee
Too cute! Loved everything about this.5 stars for all the tumblr references 😉*** Spoilers in review***Pros:* Biggest pro was that no one was sexualized in this book. The main characters are literally in the swim and dive teams and spend a lot of time in the pool. But not once did anyone mention anybody else's body, or the curves or how sexy they look in a swim suit. YA does that a lot but I was so happy it didn't happen in this book.* 2nd pro - two POVs!!!* 3rd pro - Baking! And cakes! And baking together!* Pepper's personality was nice! She was genuinely nice, studied hard for good grades, makes friends with the guy who gave her weird names when she gets the chance. Her relationship with her sister and mom was realistic (and not dramatic).* Jack was amazing too! The way he talked about app development made me remember my college days. His familial relationships were also good. Sibling problems - check. Helping out at home - check. Cooking and baking - check and check!* The Twitter fight was cute because they didn't let it get out of hand (initially) and tried to one up the other.* The Tumblr references were gold! The discussion of ship names was awesome! And Pepper saying she spent a night on Tumblr reading fics about herself was hilarious because yes, that is what Tumblr is good at! 😂* The fights weren't melodramatic. No miscommunications. We had a problem, we talked about it.* Even the arguments with the parents were level headed. I loved that!* Oh I really liked the Weazel app idea. And the cupcake one. Someone make a Pasta app 😋* The ending was super cuteeee!!!Cons:- Pepper's mom was too much! But that was needed for the story and it ended well. She did annoy me a lot though. But Jack's family counter balanced that so all good.(That's it.)Beware:+ Twitter wars 😂+ Street food+ Dramatic momsFavorite parts:* When Pepper mentions she has never ridden the bus, or doesn't go past a certain part of the city was a nice touch.* Angry noodle! 🤣* The diving scene was awesome!* Pepper meeting Jack's mom was hilarious.* Jack being hungry and angry and eyeing the so sorry blondies.* The last chapters where Pepper goes to help out at the deli even after everything happened is how you maintain friendship! No drama!!! If you have it bad, your friend is probably having a worse day! Thank you for being pragmatic and realistic!Favorite quote:"So you're the one I should send the bills to when I have to send my kid to Twitter therapy?""He can just push them through the slits of my locker."😂😂😂

Amazing reading experience!
I absolutely loved it! Sure, there are some clichés and eye rolling moments but I really enjoyed reading it. Loved the Twitter drama and the food references. Do read it, if you enjoy YA contemporary novels.

Pepper-Jack!
Pepper has to take control of her mom’s massive food chain (BLB) twitter account whilst barely juggling her school duties. Enter Jack, and his twin shadow, Ethan who work at their family’s deli. However, when BLB apparently ”steals” Jack’s grandma special grilled cheese recipe, Jack and Pepper start a cheese and banter war on twitter. All is fun and fair until their war goes viral.Unknown to Pepper and Jack, they are also forming another friendly-romantic relationship on an anonymous chat app Jack built. As this battle on Twitter gets more personal and the anonymous app could reveal Pepper’s identity, even these two rivals can't ignore their awkward affection for each other. This might be my favourite YA contemporary read so far!! This book had a practical storyline that was so easy to understand (my twitter account is not functioning though😂). The characters!!!! I loved Pepper-Jack!! The side characters were fantastic as well. This was a fantastic debut.

Yeah, that was cute.
3.5 StarsTweet Cute is the perfect modern teen romance story set in a Gossip Girl style Manhattan school. Pepper's family owns a large chain restaurant and Jack's a small New York deli. After some accusations of a stolen recipe a Twitter war ensues between the two brands. The premise is interesting and the plot is very week written with a lot of witty moments, pop culture references, and great pacing. However, after the Twitter plot dies down the book loses momentum, mixing a bunch of other conflicts that don't land as neatly. At the end I was a bit over some characters that just had terrible personalities (*cough Pepper's mom, Jack's dad, and Ethan *cough). But overall this was a just a sweet read. I liked it, I just didn't love it.

Cute and fun
Honestly didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did, but I read it on a plane and the flight passed in no time. A light and entertaining read that would probably have made me hungry if I wasn't both coeliac and lactose-intolerant and therefore not well suited to consuming grilled cheese.

A fun, banter filled meet cute
What a fun concept. With likeable characters and an interesting storyline. I really enjoyed this story. Following the twitter war and the slow burn between Jack and Pepper, I found that I couldn't put this book down.
