Well made
Used this for making Jiffy Pop on an induction stove. Worked good.

Gets hotter than expected
The converter disk has to transfer the heat to the pan. We have a silicone cover on our induction top and this disk will overheat the cover when used on high settings for longer periods. It will allow you to use your favorite non-induction ready pot on an induction hob (burner), but not the best solution long term. Try new induction ready pots and pans to see if you can find a new favorite rather than using a disk like this.

Doesn’t work
Does not work! Tried it by boiling water for some ramen, it’s been over 15 minutes, still the water hasn’t boiled. The plate gets hot, so I tried another pot. Still nothing is happening. Wasted of money, it’s garbage!

Great item!
I read the reviews but be have had NO issues! I think others were removing from heat instead of allowing to cool on the burner.

If used right, this is the best Induction diffuser I have found in over a decade.
After reading many negative reviews, I note that several folks say it gets too hot and discolors, etc, etc. What shoppers should understand is that this diffuser is designed for (get this) INDUCTION STOVES AND COOKTOPS ONLY! It is not designed for electric-radiant and gas stoves! It can work, but it was not made for that and it can deform in color and shape if used as such.I have tried many variations of induction diffusers for induction stoves, but many can be butt-ugly as in cast iron and weigh a ton. This piece is reasonable in price, size and weight. Most importantly, the carbon steel core is wrapped in stainless steel cladding. Therefore, it will never rust or discolor as long as it is used on an induction stove. Glass, ceramic or aluminum... they all work here. I find it best to slowly heat the diffuser & glass or ceramic pan at a 150 degrees or so to let the built in cooktop temperature monitor to stabilize with the diffuser before placing the non-metallic pot... maybe a few minutes at best. Then you can adjust the temp as needed and cook without worry about shattering the glass pot. I should add that changing temperatures drastically can still stress glass or ceramicI used to cook on a gas stove, but after I found the tight controls on an induction cooktop, you can warm chocolate or melt butter and never burn it. You can set cooking cycles without standing over the stove. But the best part is that it is far m0re efficient than gas or radiant electric. Enjoy.

Just like picture & described !
This what I wrote on my induction plate range review for this item is below. It did seem to slide, but maybe is cuz it took a few minutes till it heated up & got magnetic. I was scared it was not going to work, but it did ! I was expecting super magnetic stick right away, but is not how this works I guess. As long as it works I am okay. Just wish the retail mark up was not that much or item do as I thought it might in the magic magnet thing, but as long as it worked with none induction pots, or worked, etc I am satisfied. It is all I was worried about when ordering it & if I had to return it back. Good thing I don't have to.Looks like great quality. It was a low price. No fancy more button functions like I would have liked, but I have been wanting an induction range, so I had to forget that & get this simple one. I am sure better off without more difficulty or choices of button functions. I tried one of from the set of the cheap Walmart nice enough Mainstays pots set to make the square pkg of Nissan chicken flavor noodle soup on the induction flat pan thing bought on here & it boiled the water so fast no stress like my regular countertop coil burners. Maybe with all this wot burn stuff again. Also, maybe make some caramel if ever need be.I don't cook much on the stove, but if need to I have it. I have the toaster oven, the digital pressure cooker, and now the 3 in 1 Ninja Foodi Gril, so will not this unless need to saute seasonings Spanish Cuban tomato sauce base or can of beans for it, cuz the microwave is not so great or really work or the same & a bit of a pain & process. This is much faster. The plastic round microwave cooker is too thin for the weight when go take it out & a pot is much better to do that when cant cook dry beans.I wish I could get more use out of this, but since I have all those other devices for recipes I don't need it as much. If ever there is a recipe that I find on YouTube or my search that I can't cook on those devices then I will have this here already & not have to wait to get one to make the food. Anyhow, looks great quality. So far so good. Hope have use of it for ages to come.
