I debated for a long time whether I should invest in a high quality yoga mat or not. When I committed to doing yoga daily, I realized I couldn't keep churning through cheap yoga mats ($20-30 range) that are slippery and that start breaking down after a few weeks. So I researched the yoga mat market and decided on B Yoga Mat. And after using it for a few days already, doing Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga mainly, I'm SO happy to report that this yoga mat seems to be sturdy and has an AMAZING GRIP. It puts all other yoga mats I previously bought to shame. The only downside I can report is that it does smell like it came right out of the factory to my front porch. But after airing it out the smell is going away. It's a small price to pay IMHO for an amazing yoga mat that actually supports me the way it should. I cannot speak for how well it does with sweat because I don't do Hot Yoga and I don't sweat all that much, and certainly never from my palms and feet. But under normal conditions, it works great. LOVE it.

Very light weight. I purchased this one for a friend for her birthday because I loved mine which I’ve been using. Almost daily for one year and it is still super grippy. Love the thin Ness of it too. Excellent product. Another friend has also purchased after I recommended. So that’s three total and I will continue recommending this. Matt at the studio where I work. I am pleased with this mat, it is of a thickness I wanted. Very sticky- perfect for me.

I have been looking for a new yoga mat for a while now and finally took a chance on this one after a bit of research. I'm very happy I did. This mat is sticky! I use it mostly for medium heat flow classes multiple times a week. I get pretty sweaty and did not lose grip once on this mat. It was sticky the first time I used it actually, so I loved that I didn't have a few weeks of "break in period" as you often have with other mats. I did go with the Long version, and it was much longer than I expected. Probably should have looked at the measurements so that was my fault. It does still have a smell, which I really only notice when my face is on the mat in child's pose. Also, they do tell you that the lighter colors are more prone to show dirt or stains. I purchased the dark blue and it shows my hand/foot prints and any tiny bit of dust which I didn't expect. Overall, so far I am very happy with this mat.

A friend who is a yoga teacher highly recommend this mat for a non-slip option. She said it’s by far her favorite and now that I have mine and have been using it for a month, I couldn’t agree more. It’s wonderfully grippy, and feel about half the weight of my Manduka EcoLite. I thought that mat had good grip, but this one is far superior in that department. The only reason I could see someone not liking this one is because it does require you to lift your hands and feet more when moving into different positions as it’s not as easy to slide back. A good example would be when going from down dog to lunge, lizard, etc. and going from those poses back to down dog. I actually like this because it’s making me be more intentional with my movement instead of being lazy and falling/dipping into the postures too much. All in all, it’s made it easier to have proper form in my yoga practice and it is lightweight with great grip!

I love this mat. I have been using it for about 8 months now, and it really improved my practice in a heated studio. When I first started practicing, I had so much trouble with down dog and other poses that require grip - once the room heated up and I started to sweat, I would slide around and almost fall. As a newer yogi - I purchased this Mat after testing one out in a vinyasa class that reach well over 100 degrees! I fell in love. This mat, even when covered in sweat, kept your grip. My only complaint I have with this mat is the yellow started to look dirty quickly. Despite cleaning it post session, it was just the nature of the color. The color itself has remained vividly yellow and is beautiful - with the exception of the foot and hand spots where its just naturally has become dingy looking. I have practiced on this mat for over a year now and while I love my B-Yoga mat, it has reached its retirement. I find myself slipping more and not having the same grip and comfort I had when I first purchased it. I mean - its been practiced on religiously 3x a week for about a year now. And its done a wonderful job helping me fall in love with yoga! Will be purchasing a new one soon!

I got the 85’ as I am 5’10”. I would recommend the 85’ for anyone my height or taller.Non-slip. Nice colours. Keeps well with little maintenance. I clean (spray them down) after each use. Avid yogi and fitness person so I use the mat(s) everyday, sometimes twice a day. I have 4 yoga mats, all of which are the b mat brand. I have a longer tailbone which can make certain movements that put pressure on my lower spine painful/uncomfortable, but the cushion of this mat is good for me.
