GI P-38 Can Opener (5-pack)

I’ve been using Amazon for a while and I’ve never had a problem.The can openers are exactly what I wanted and expected; they are the exact same kind that really work. The same kind that they used to put in the sea rations when I was in the service.I got one on every keychain and gave some for gifts.They are easy to use and look very durable.Thank you for giving me what I wanted.

I've carried a P-38 on my keychain for over 40 years.Thin and versatile and weighing almost nothing, this tool can act as a pry, a screwdriver, a can opener, a bottle opener, or a very small spoon. You can sterilize it by lowering into boiling water - there's a hole for a string or wire to pull it out of the water.You can use it as a staging area for tinder or charred cloth while lighting a flame - this is especially useful when you're in an environment where it's raining cats and dogs and everything is wet.You can cut fishing line with the can opener blade, or you can spool line around it and use it as the world's smallest fishing pole. You could scale fish with it. It just might save your life.Yes, occasionally the pointed arm will swing open while in your pockets and it can rip a hole in the pocket if you yank on it to grab your keys. It happens a lot less than you think, maybe once per year. I will not lower the stars for the way I choose to carry it. Fabulous product.

Works great use for back or when traveling

I wish these were of stronger metal as used in the WWII kits, but these are small, useful can openers; however, don't try to take them through TSA.

Great for camping and it power goes out

i bought these, cause my favorite survival guy that i follow on you tube has a few. i only try and buy american made stuff. i asked the company if they were american made and they replied quickly with a yes.. even told me which state they were made from. which is great. i bought the 5 pack, they got to my house when they said they would.right out of the package, i used all of them immediately, to see how consistent the product was, i saved a few cans that i opened from the bottom, for this test. right off the bat, all of them worked perfectly. i read some reviews that said the ones they got twisted and didnt work... this was not the case with these. perhaps those people didnt know how to use them correctly.great quality and craftsmanship. would definitely refer these to everyone, and in fact i have. bought a pack of 5, at first cause i didnt want to pay the money for something that may not have worked. but i will be a returning customer. 1 went on my key chain, 1 went into my survival tin, 1 went into my bug out bag, and the other 2 are going into my brothers hands.really great product. this product is made in the usa, and shipped in the usa. my only complaint is with amazon. yall should FBA this product. i like getting one box from amazon, with everything in it. this is NOT a mark on US Shelby CO.THANK YOU :: US Shelby CO., and thank you Amazon !!!

They’re a bit smaller and thinner than the ones I remember from way back when, but they fit the bill.
