Best Butter Dish Ever!
This is my second one as I dropped and broke my first one. I put the butter in the deep side of the dish. It’s the perfect size.

Holds 2 sticks of butter
pros: glass; holds 2 sticks of butter; doesn't say butter on topcons: butter on edgw 'glues' the 2 parts together and it it hard to get apart

I like this butter dish a lot.
I like this butter dish a lot. I just bought a second one, to keep a block of cream cheese in. It is the perfect size for that. It is nice and heavy, and attractive on my counter with butter in it.

Finally.
Finally I have found just what I have been looking for. This one is wide and deep.

Made for large hands
I have small hands and have great difficulty removing the lid without dropping it. I like the size of the dish because it could conceivably hold two regular sticks of butter. But the lid is difficult to grab onto for small hands and each time it almost slips out of my hands. Sadly, this one will be donated to Goodwill. I am back on the hunt for the perfect butter dish.

Great butter dish
Can also be used for cranberry jelly at Thanksgiving.

Nice glass butter dish
I had been looking for a glass butter dish that wasn’t super thin and this fits the bill plus you can fit either a block of cream cheese or two sticks of butter

It’s perfect for a single, half cup stick of butter OR a double, one cup stick!

Does NOT fit a Canadian pound of butter
This product does NOT fit a Canadian pound of butter and I was very disappointed. It needs an entire inch cut off or have the lid dangle there on top of the butter. Unless you are in the habit of cutting your pounds of butter in half the long way....I do not recommend it. You need to buy a butter dish made in Canada or US....which is rare as hens teeth.
