Good mount

I like the beveled profile- works nicely as a thumb rest on the side of a handguard for a surer grip.Has a nice finish and seemingly beefy fasteners.Reasonable price vs other bjg-name brands.

I am usually too lazy to write reviews but I feel I have to say something about this STNGR Company and their products. I was looking for a M-Lok type sling mount for my AR. After compared all major designs on the market, I ran into this one by an accident, from the instinct as a military mechanic, I see quite a few standing out features in the STNGR design: such as smooth low profile and sang free, screws are recessed to prevent damage but not so deep that collecting dirt and mud. After I received the mount (more to this later), I exam it closely, the built quality is way better than what I paid for at $15. Installing was no drama, being 15 years in the military, I am pretty OCD, and I was glad to see the T nut inside of the M-Lok are visually 90 degrees after tightening the bolts down, nice job there STNGR! The mount had zero movement before I torqued down all the bolts, which means the product was made with great precision. BTW I applied little blue Loctite and tighten them down to 25 inch/lb with torque wrench just to make sure. 20 inch/lb is generally called for scoop mounts screws so I gave the STNGR extra 5 it won’t hurt. Inside of the sling mounting main hole (I called it, LOL) has four slots that you can position the sling mount connector in four different directions with plenty movement so your sling won’t turn 360 degrees and tangle. I can see the company really put a lots of thoughts when they designed this mount.I placed an initial order on Amazon along with some other items but Amazon sent a package with multiple products in there and missing the STNGR mount. I emailed STNGR Company, and they replied quickly and sent a “replacement” mount from their HQ with a bunch of extra stickers at free of charge. That is great customer service even it was not their fault!Griffin from SeattleUpdate: I installed the mount at the bottom front of the handguard that made the mount works like a mini handstop, great stuff.

Easy to install and holds the q link With Tech tile strength.. I'm so glad I didn't spend more and the design is really sleek.

These look to be well made and are not difficult to install. But, the "detents" that appear to be machined in the locking groove to prevent the QD swivel from rotating caused me a problem. The locking bearings on my QD sling swivels would not fully engage, and on my heavier AR10 build caused the QDs to release without pressing the button. This caused my AR10 to drop to the ground. The QDs released unexpectedly 3 times when I tried them. I was able to make them work by grinding the detents out with a die grinder, but then I was a little leery of using them, thinking that I may have removed too much material, so I ordered a different make and design with a standard groove and no anti rotation detents. This may be a possible issue with several different makes of bases, as after shopping around I found that a good number of manufacturers use designs that employ similar anti rotation detents in the locking ball groove. I bought a different make that employed a plain locking groove with no anti swivel detents. This may not be an issue for all builds but it was for me. They have a nice finish and look like they are well made, but they didn't work for me.

Everything was great. Except, it wouldn't work with ALL my qd swivels. But, I did have a couple sets that would work so no big deal. STNGR is a GREAT company and they WILL get my business again... I'm sure if I contacted them they would refund me or fix the issue some how. But, no need in my case! Buy from STNGR with confidence. I have several of their products and they are GTG!!

Easy to install on Kel Tec Sub 2000. Sturdy and works as advertised.
