Old Skool Sega Genesis Ac Adapter for Genesis 2 and 3 or Game Gear

Fantastic item. It’s really lightweight but it works. Zero complaints.

Not too much to say here - it works perfectly fine in powering up my Sega Genesis 2. My only complaint, albeit minor, is that the power brick feels too lightweight and cheap for the size it is, but whatever.

I saw reviews that you had to hold cord in for it to work, and I had to also..I was so tempted to return until I opened system and found that there's a common soldering issue. the adapter works perfectly. If you have issues its the system!

Did not work for me, fresh out of the box. Cable connecting to the power brick was loose. The brick itself felt lightweight, like there was nothing inside of it (probably because there isn't). Don't waste your time or money. Would give zero stars if I could, because it just straight up did not work.

It's made cheap but gets the job done. The insulation on mine came apart where the wires go into the adapter. Just don't put a lot of strain on the wires, and yours will be fine. I still recommend this product 4 out of 5 stars.

No complaints, basic and solid product. Wiring is a bit thin so be careful with that, but aside from that, you're good.

Well, was hoping for a good replacement for a model 2 Genesis, but this is not it. Don't get this unit if you use RGB (or SCART) to connect your Genesis. This unit creates terrible radio interference that heavily degrades the picture. If connecting regular RCA cables (yellow, red white) it's much less noticeable, however still present. Contemplating returning this item, it does however work with a Game Gear; and I have a clean picture on both a standard unit and a McWill unit. Only get this if you need a cheap temporary replacement, or if you don't plan on playing your model 2 Genesis long. It's super light weight as others have commented, and the cable length is pretty short, maybe 4 feet.
