You can add a squeaker to it!
It's very hard to find a squeaky toy for our hard chewing cattle dog mix. She performs savage squeaker-ectomies routinely on toys and has only been foiled by the Ruffians octopus (see link in comments) and this one. This Wee-nut doesn't come with a squeaker, but I took one I'd rescued from another toy, folded it carefully and inserted it squeaker-tip first into the Weenut. It's perfect! Now I have a rubber squeaker toy that is compact and durable. I may get a full size peanut, too, and add a squeaker for variety. Our dog loves it!Update 6-2-14. I know it hasn't been very much longer, but I continue to love this toy for its durability. Especially as I see other "tough" toys bite the dust around here, one by one. The wee-nut (and the larger peanut) continue to look terrific and they're still among my dog's favorite toys. Wish they made some more fun shaped toys out of this material.

Fabulous toy that is not damaged by a hard chewing doggie!!
My 10 month old Westie has destroyed too many toys. He is sad when I take them away from him. He received a Ruff Dawg toy for Christmas and it is still in play. We recently ordered a Wee-nut. It is orange and now his favorite toy. ....2 weeks later, chewed daily and still holding strong. Why can't all dog products be made from this plastic/ rubber material?

Semi durable worth a few bucks
Lasted longer than I thought it would about 3-4 weeks. My pup loved this toy because of how bouncy it was. The only negative was once she got the edge of the treat hole ripped open it was game over.

This toy is truly for aggressive chewing dogs!
I always read all reviews before purchasing & when the majority of reviews noted their dogs destroy new toys in minutes but not this one - I took a leap of faith having spent quite a lot in my search for a toy my 25 lb. shipoo would not chew apart. Yeah! He still has it & continues to play with it daily. I wasn’t sure since reviewers had mentioned it is made of a soft rubber-type material & smells nice to boot! But it’s been great to see him play, chew and play again and again. Highly recommend.

I love These
I have two dogs and they absolutely fight over these "peanuts." We sit outside in a fenced yard with ours every time we take them out at night so we can make sure no coyote jumps the fence. They love to play chase with these and it is their go to toys. We had a couple already when I ordered one of these to check it out. I was fascinated about how these glowed in the dark which is perfect for us. Even though we have a flood light that covers the yard, there are shadows here and there due to shrubbery. I am delighted that these glow in the dark... they're so easy to find. I love them so much, that I placed an order for two more so the dogs won't fight over them. Highly recommend although the price is really high as far as I'm concerned. But there's just something about the "peanut" shape that is attractive to the dogs. And, the glow in the night is really nice. When inside, I can see where they are when I get up and stumble to the bathroom...that's just too cool. My Maltipoo is a chewer... a strong chewer and so far the first one which we have had for over a month has nary a sign that he's chewed on it...not even teeth marks. They're a bit pliable... so I don't know why he's not chewing them apart. I've seen him carrying them around and playing with it, I just haven't seen him chewing it.

“Ruff”? Not so much
I don’t know why they call it “rough” dog ? This is a very mailable plastic which is fine- kind of rubbery not very thick- but my dog will have it in pieces in 10 minutes. I’m not going to give it to her because I don’t want her to accidentally ingest something. It would be fine for a gentle dog to play with but not a “ruff”dog. Waste o’ money!$!

Great toy
I bought one of these and my dogs love them. I now have 3 more to ensure they don't ever go without them. My Keeshond just turned 1 year old and she's really hard on toys. She chews on this everyday and we also play fetch with it, it's held up great! I'll be buying more! Update: My dogs still love these toys but I've had a couple of them split on the end with the larger hole. With that also the price went up so I'm not sure about buying more now.

Ruff Dawg makes great toys for heavy chewers!
My dogs are obsessed with these toys! I bought one to see how long it would survive my westie and mini schnauzer. The westie would not part with it and she wasn't able to destroy it, so I ordered a second one. The toy is durable and smells like vanilla. One is stickier than the other and collects grass and dirt, but it rinses off easily. We got a bright yellow colored one and a light pink one. Ruff Dawg makes great toys. The doggies also enjoy the knuckle ball made by Ruff Dawg.
