Replaced HP tower with Acer Veriton--works perfectly.
Needed a W7 desktop to replace a 3yr old HP tower. Wanted smallest package possible. This is very close to a laptop's size.Had to send first unit back because when I removed the hard drive to upgrade the RAM, I noticed a loose wire. Returned it for credit and reordered same unit. When I opened it up to replace RAM this time, the wire was soldered where it was supposed to be.Wasn't able to upgrade RAM today. I bought the wrong product. Was able to switch the HDD for an SSD. Easily cloned the HDD and swapping it was very easy. It uses a compression rubber wrapper instead of screws. You just lift out the HDD, swap the rubber wrapper to the SSD and push it back into the receptacle. Boot was much faster. Waiting on replacement RAM to upgrade unit to 16GB RAM.It seems as fast to me as the HP tower I have, which is no slouch.I'm very happy with the unit so far.
