Bought this to mount an Arlo camera outside. Began to rust by 2nd month. It can no longer tighten in placen and because of that it's very flimsy. Don't waste your time with this product.

This mount worked well at the start. But then after about a year, I noticed the camera started sagging. When I went to charge the batteries and reinstall, the mechanism would no longer hold in place. I'll probably go to a less complex mount even though it will reduce my options for exact camera view.

The ball sockets cannot be tightened and do not stay in position. It is impossible to insert the power cord because the lock nut is too large. It is impossible to adjust the cameras below the horizontal level. Product did not work for my application.

It does allow you more positions compared to the stand that comes with the Arlo but is tricky to adjust all the knobs. When you set the first knob and try to adjust the second one, the first one loosens. Etc,etc

I like it alot. Had an issue with the one end connecting the Arlo Pro 2 camera where it somehow got stripped after over-tightening, so I guess you gotta watch that. That's probably the only reason for not giving this 5 stars. I have it set in a U shape and it works fine. Solid metal structure makes this a very rigid mount.

I needed Magic Arm to put an Arlo Pro camera in a difficult position near the corner of a garage. The flexibility and ease of setting up the magic arm and adding the camera is worth your time and money.

I was super excited about this and ordered two of them for GoPro camera mounts for my studio setup. However, once bolting the face plate to the wall - it's impossible to get the wall mount to hold it's shape, pose. The ball sockets have no hold and the camera slips downward.Waste of time and money.

Took about 2 minutes to install if you have a good drill. Very simple, and the camera attached straight to the arm. Ended up buying two.

This thing articulates in many ways, however, you can’t tighten any joint individually. You have to fumble this thing into position and try to tighten it without moving anything. It’s bizarre.
