Tamara the Tornado: A Hero in Disguise (Nature Speaks)

I love the Nature Speaks series from this author - and this one is my favourite. Engaging and educational with great illustrations. I also learned something new about tornados. These books really make learning fun through stories. I especially loved what the tornado does with the tubes of coloured paint!

What a beautiful book. So informative and engaging. I don’t know much about tornados as we don’t get very many in Scotland so I found it very interesting. I’m sure the young audience it is aimed at will love as much as I did.

I got this product simply because it has my name in the title. However, it is a very informative and cute book.

This is an exceptional book that illustrates the formation of tornadoes. The illustrations are fantastic and appeal to children of all ages. The text is simple and easy to follow. This is a great resource to use in the classroom when teaching units about natural disasters.

The swirling colors are silly but fun. I was confused by why the blanket became an airplane but the comforting ending will reassure kids.
