The small bottle can go a long way. I want the fiberglass patch to fix a cracked plastic shroud that would cost $250 to replace. It initially super glued the cracked plastic together but I knew it would crack again due ti the pressure against it. So this fiberglass patch would reinforce the surround area. It’s easy to work with and the fiberglass material should make it even stronger than before. The only issues with this product is that the hardening solution that come with it is very small. I serious doubt that it is enough for the 4-1 ratio as suggested. But for my needs, it was plenty. The other issue is that once mixed the epoxy is still watery. The low viscosity is hard to use on verticals surfaces. Even the initial thin layer would run down the sides. You have to work very slowly or allow the epoxy to thicken first so it won’t run down.After two coats, the patch area looks great and very translucent. Not that it matter since it will be hidden from sight. But hopefully when I start up the equipment again the pressure on the part will hold with this patch.
