This was for when we replaced our garbage disposal. It fit well, and gave us the confidence that the hose is new and not failing. Since we had the area open, it was the best time to replace it.The value of this is fantastic. You won’t get one anywhere else for the quality, price and convenience.I recommend this product.

The white plastic connector is what allowed me to fix my issue (garbage disposal installed so the waste line connector orifice was pointed in a direction that did not allow the waste line to have a straight shot to connect). Using this adaptor and connector gave that part of the line just enough rigity that the hose could connect without crimping. (yep i know spinning the garbage disposal even 10 degrees would have given the necessary clearance but the piping is older and if you mess with one thing, all of it could unravel - trying to avoid the unraveling!)

Rubber items do not last forever. My old coupling was over ten years old. I hired a plumber to install my disposal so I don't have intimate knowledge as to facility. The plumber did not complain, so I can only assume that the coupling was satisfactory.
