A very grown-up friendship bracelet making kit made by none other than Juicy Couture who's apparel our seven year old is already a fan of. This sei is unlike her past make-it-yourself kits in that its more geared to bolder kids who like to dress with a little more finesse and attention to detail.There are over 600 beds in the set, beads and strings are good faulty and don't look like theyre from a DIY set. They look like something we would pick up from Accessorize when they're made. You get quite a long stretch of elasticated string which is what we used to make the stretchy easy-on bracelets.Important Note:There is one longer metal chain in the set with the usual closure clasp. This is the ONLY clasp in the set. The cotton or satin cord which is used to make the necklace would therefore need to left quite long so that you can get it over your head.You can used the taut cotton or satin cord to make bracelets too. In order to do this you will need to learn a few knots which would then bypass the need for a clasp. The knots are quite simple to lear. The benefit of the knot bracelet technique is that we're able to alter the size to fit multiple wrists with a simple pull of the string.A lovely set which any little fashionista would adore.5 stars

This is a beautifully presented crafting kit for children (and some adults no doubt) to make costume jewellery in their own style.It has a great variety of beads, charms and tassels to place on a variety of bracelet's and necklaces including the elastic material that is the core of a stretchy bracelet, cotton thread, satin cord and even one longer metal chain with a clasp.Our next door neighbours 8 year old daughter was thrilled with this set and spent most of an afternoon making and creating her own jewellery.To be honest my crafty partner was very tempted to have this for herself (and she is a LOT older than 8!)This would make an epic gift item and considering the quality of the finished articles is very good you could easily spend as much in Accessorize for similar costume jewellery that everyone else can get and lose out on the fun of creating your own!Happy to help

I ordered this juicy couture gift set as a present for my friends daughter who is very creative and she has absolutely loved this gift set.It is very easy to use and comes equipped with everything a child/teen needs to build charm bracelets and necklaces.It has both acrylic and wooden beads, as well as tassels, linked rings and 4 different coloured strings. All in all it has 664 different pieces in it.I believe the recommended age is appropriate due to the very small pieces involved in the bracelet making and the need for very delicate hands- a child any smaller than 8 would not be able to thread them through as well. Obviously with the support of an adult this wouldn’t matter.I believe the price (£20) reflects the quality of this product as well as a very established brand. A very designer feel to this gift set for any young child who wants to be creative as well as stylish.Overall we’ve been impressed and would be happy to recommend.

This is a very good set which has entertained my niece for hours.Easy to use and follow, she has made many cute friendship bracelets which she loves giving to her friends.Would make a nice gift for someone into crafts.

It states makes 8 on the box, it states makes 4 on the instructions. One chain was broken so it only makes 3. Charms are flimsy stickers you have to stick together and look nothing like they do on the box. So sorry i bothered.

The kit we have says makes 8 bracelets on the cover but only makes 4. My daughter received as a gift and is very disappointed. Great kit otherwise - lots of fun!

This was intended to be a birthday present. I don’t necessarily regret purchasing it, but the quality was not nearly as good as expected. Would not purchase a second time. Nor would I recommend it to anyone.
