Beefy, good product, but some misdrilled holes in steel
Overall, great product. The steel is beefy, and the fit and finish is good.Only thing preventing a five star is that on one fence wall in one corner, the screw holes for the adjustable-position teeth are too close to the lower bracket and thus I can’t use that position.Similarly, the adjusting knob on one corner also prevents using one set of screw holes.Really annoying because otherwise it’s a great product. The problems can be solved by drilling new holes, easy enough. Just wish I didn’t have to do this given the cost of the product.Photos show both issues.Despite this, I’d probably buy again.

Much better than described
The description is not good enough. It says it will do up to 9" round. I have a ride on 14" 10-326 with a 13" throat opening and this jig will take everything your bandsaw can handle. Because you have to account for height of the jig I was able to cut from 3"-12.5" rounds. Also the wood does not have to fit flat on the jig as long as the teeth are clamped onto the log. I put the adjustment screws toward the front holes so I can slide the teeth beyond the length of the jig. I have no reason to believe it wouldn't cut 15" rounds. I make hundreds of rounds a year and now I can cut with perfection. Set the fence at the proper thickness and away you go. Now I wish I had a bigger band saw.

Excellent Jig for Squaring log ends / making log slices
The miter mill by Carter is an excellent tool for a full band saw. The intended use is to square the ends of a log or to make slices from a cut log. Setup of the tool was mostly complete out of the box. I attached the middle set of teeth and adjusted the mill for the size of the log I used. The tool is easy to adjust and fit in the miter groove of my Laguna band saw with ease. One of the pictures (I believe an Elm log) shows the ~1" slices I made. I purchased the AccuRight Log Mill at the same time, however I haven't use that yet. If the quality is the same as this jig, I'm sure I'll be equally pleased. I did watch a few YouTube videos on how people use this jig as it was being shipped to my home. The videos definitely helped. I would recommend this purchase for anyone who has a band saw, wood shop, etc.

Used it the first time today
And once assembled it worked just as expected. I was able to cut wafers from a 3x 36 piece of maple with complete control of the blank and the finished pieces. That's expected, but I mention this because even as I have built various jigs to cut logs and round stock, I have never come up with a solution that gave rigid and safe control of the blanks and that gave straight cuts. Sadly I have even crashed my band saw once or twice while trying to make this kind of cut (and them blades and fingers ain't cheap!). This product has solved this issue. I only hope that in the coming years that I have enough of these kinds of cuts to justify the expense--though the vast increase in safety is more than worth it!

Carter products are the best
Got small logs? Got a bandsaw? Want to make money? Buy this. This little jig works with your band saw to accurately and safely saw logs into wafers. Wafers? Well maybe I should say wooden coasters. From there they go to the CNC machine for carving/engraving, or laser etching. Be creative! If you live near trees with fallen limbs you can have fun and make some money with this little jig.
