YutaoZ New Improved Protective Skin for Google Home, Carbon Black

we have our Google Home device sitting on the countertop that divides the kitchen and living room. All of our countertops are black but the Google Home is white...so we added a black bottom as well as this black skin. Now our Google Home device is black, blends in with the countertop and not so obvious. This black skin was a good fit and easy to put on too. One of the skins covers the Google Home colored lights.

Easy to lay on to the device, but neither one of mine wrapped around the entire device. I had to make a scrap piece to lay under the end of the cover in order for it to look halfway decent. The top is not translucent and therefore you don't know if the home is actually listening or not. Not impressed, but not super disappointed either.

These are really nice. I'm using the red cover on my google now and it looks great, will probably change out to one of the other skins in a few months for variety. Takes a little effort to install, but fits so well the seam is virtually invisible. Each decal has a nice shiny texture (except for red which has a shimmery appearance). I would definitely recommend to spruce up your google home unit.

There wasn't a lot of thought put into this skin. It may look neat in the display picture, but that's the back of the Google home where the charger is, you don't see that side of the product. They decided to cut and design this skin so that the seam is in the front of the Google home and looks terrible, even if it's absolutely perfect you still see it. Why wouldn't the seam be in the back, where the charger is as well? I'll give it 3 stars because it's a quality skin but why couldn't it be cut in a different spot?

Good for the price

no installation instructions and it is horrible to try and get lined up and centered. Not worth the trouble. On top of that, the skin completely covers the top lights so you cannot tell when google is listening. I would return it, if it wasn't half destroyed by trying to install it and line it up again and again. Also note, it does not cover all of the white base - look at the picture and you will notice that it is not big enough and leaves an outline. Cheap junk.

I have recently purchased 2 google home speakers. The package comes with 5 covers that are easy to put on.I could of purchased 1 cover for the price of the 5 protective skins.The red has a little shimmer to it. I have that cover in my room.I am using the gold cover in my living room speaker.good purchase

You can't see the lights when you say "okay Google". That's my only complaint.
