I worked at a pet store for 19 years, so I already know this is one of the best foods for Bettas that you can get. I also needed some for the work fish, so it made sense to buy the 3 pack.The pellets float on the water well, the food is easy to dispense out of the package accurately, it stays fresh well, it's one of the best known and trusted brands for Betta food, it is made of good quality ingredients that exceed the needs for them, and the price was better than in stores. I highly recommend!

I am very pleased with this fish food.I have kept Betta fish for many years and some really are picker eaters than others.The most recent Betta I have bought is the smallest I have ever kept and he is a rather picky eater. For those two reasons I needed to buy some “different” food. I did buy a couple of products that were advertised as “small pellet” but those were no smaller than the “regular” food I always buy.This Hikari “baby pellets” was exactly what I wanted and what my fish needed. He eats it without hesitation and seems to be thriving, after a few months. So, I am very pleased.Others have commented about liking the package. I do not; but not enough to ding the review. I just emptied (only the one – I received three packages with my order, as shown) into another container and will do the same as the remaining two are needed.I am a novice (i.e., pet) fish owner but I would recommend this product and would not hesitate to buy again from the same seller/distributor.

I have 2 bettas that absolutely love this food. It must be healthy for them because they’re over 2 years old.Note- I don’t feed as often as the instructions say. 10-15 pellets in the morning has been our routine.There is no foul smell as you get with other types of food and the pellets definitely float instead of sinking to the bottom of the tank.

My pet betta LOVES these pellets! They are just the right size for him and he has an easy time eating them unlike other pellets. I usually give him 2 and that lasts the day. Great price for the amount of product you get as well!

I have a single betta in a two-gallon bowl (cleaned often, with a heater). He is doing extremely well and at least part of that is due to this great food. When he arrived at my house, his colors were drab and sad. Part of the issue was shipping stress, and part was his age (he was only a few months old). After a month on this food, his colors improved dramatically. He's been on this food for about six months now and is a really gorgeous fish with beautiful flowing fins. I love that these pellets don't sink to the bottom of the bowl since I don't have a filtration system. I don't have to syringe rotting food off the bottom of the bowl, which I greatly appreciate. All of it goes into the fish! When I turn on the light to feed him in the morning, he swims to the top of the bowl and zigzags back and forth in anticipation. I give him around five pellets and he sucks them down immediately. The food may seem expensive, but I think this three-pack just might last him his whole life. I haven't half-finished the first pack I opened in the last six months. If you want your betta to be the best he can be, I recommend using this food! And be careful not to overfeed. I feed my guy every day, and around five pellets are plenty. But I think he would keep eating until he exploded!

it's hard to find good pet food. This is good pet food. It doesn't have food coloring, it's healthy, my Betta loves it. My first pet food was some bright colorful fake stuff that looked like plastic, the Betta barely ate it. This food is normal color, it does float, the individual grains seem slightly heavier and less "plastic."However- my only complaint is that the packaging is difficult to use. You are supposed to snip off the end and turn it this way and that until the right amount comes out. It's annoying, easy to spill, easy to put too much in there, and so on.My solution was to dump out all the old food from my previous "fake" food that had a great package, and reuse it with this food. Now if Hikari would make an actual useable feeder, that would be great.
