I have these displayed in my bookcase, as an avid bird enthusiast. I love the accuracy of the coloration and I got the one I wanted (the Tree Swallow) by pure chance! It's a tad bit hard to get the head off and remove the egg inside, and I ended up scraped a bit of the paint of trying to pry it off. If you don't care for the egg, I advise you just keep it inside. It's a little pricey but still a wonderful addition to my house decor.

As a bird lover and lover of little trinkets these are adorable and I’d love to collect more only complaint is the egg is somewhat hard to get to with it being inside the bird but I love that design nonetheless.

Definitely smaller than expected but I didn't look at the description and reviews enough to realize it. Very cute! I bought it for my daughter and she was so excited to get the mystery bird. I wouldn't have posted pics if they didn't already spoil the surprise by posting the mystery one in the product description!Once you get the head off to get the egg once, it's loosened up enough and isn't as difficult the next time. At the same time it's not so loose that the head just falls off. Seems like a well made little thing :)

This item is so tiny. It's so cute but it was so difficult to get the head off. I ended up using a rubber glove that I use for washing dishes to help me twist and pop the neck off. Also despite what you see in the first picture. That is the only time I've gotten the egg to stay up. The egg will roll away.

This product seems to be pretty good quality, I love how the basket can actually move and how the wood is actually wood instead of plastic. Very cute!! Just be careful not to miss the little clear stick that attaches the bird to the wood - I almost threw it away by mistake

Daughter was a little disappointed she didn’t get the bird she wanted, but still loves the one that came.

These are adorable. The egg is hard to get out. I’m still working on it. Trying to find a way to pop the head off without damaging the bird.

It is adorable! It is smaller than what I thought it was going to be ( used my index finger for size comparison) but it is better quality than I though as well. I actually got the chase for the one that I ordered! I am definitely going to be getting some more so cute!
