Unscrew the compartment at the top and you will see the battery connection. Use a new battery, it takes a lot of power for this applicator to work. The power switch lights when turned on. **Q: Will this work with 12mm static grass?** A: It should be fine, just be sure to use thick white glue. **Q: Does the applicator come with 2 screen caps as show in the picture or only 1 cap** A: So the applicator come with only 1 screen cap and it’s mid range for 3mm and up. For shorter grass I would recommend just making one.
