A good reference work

I have observed that people of our country is very much interested to have a fire arm. But they have no interest to know about inside of a fire arm and ammunitions which is very unfortunate. Accordingly they have been found in total darkness and misuse the weapons. To stop the people,keeping firearms in their possession without any knowledge and also to stop the misuse, most likely Government had to make the arms rules very tough in India. To overcome the difficulty we have to have enough knowledge regarding arms, ammunitions, their use and technical application which all Western country people get from their childhood. Unfortunately in our country the scope of the aforesaid opportunity is very remote. In this regards I should intimate all that the Text book of pistol and revolvers are very good for beginners as well as for the experts as far as basics, application, use and technical details are concerned. It is a fact that the book has been written on old weapons but the use, application and technical informations remain same as far as the modern weapons are concerned. I consider this book is very useful as a text book and every person who are interested about firearms or have firearms must read this book as an asset. Asit Ray.
